Her career boasts a wide range of leadership roles, from chief technology officer to vice president of engineering and more. Ms. Delamere’s expertise in the software development life cycle, paired with a passion for creating products that serve emerging markets, has shaped her professional journey. Leading Traject Data’s product and engineering teams, she focuses on driving innovation and operational excellence.

Ms. Delamere’s educational background laid the foundation for her impressive professional path. She earned a Master of Business Administration from Regis University in 2004 and a Master of Arts in industrial and systems engineering from the University of Southern California in 2000. Before that, she obtained her Bachelor of Arts in physics and 3-2 engineering from Scripps College in 1998. These academic achievements are complemented by her numerous certifications, including scrum product owner and scrum master certifications from the International Scrum Institute, a Six Sigma black belt, and a user experience and interactive design certificate.

Ms. Delamere’s career began at Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu Limited, commonly referred to as Deloitte, where she worked as a senior consultant from 2000 to 2001. She then moved through various industries and companies, gaining technical expertise and leadership skills. Over the years, Ms. Delamere held positions at major corporations like Microsoft, serving as a senior product manager, chief of staff, senior group program manager, and at JPMorgan Chase & Co., leading teams in analytics and testing. By 2023, Ms. Delamere ascended to her current position at Traject Data, leading product and technology teams. She guides the company’s strategic efforts in developing machine learning models, artificial intelligence training, and data analytics while supporting marketers and technologists in identifying market trends. Under her guidance, Traject Data processes 1.4 billion search results monthly and intends to triple this figure without increasing resources.

Despite her focus on technology, Ms. Delamere’s leadership style is grounded in empathy and mentorship. She credits her paternal grandmother, Aida Cruz del Rosario, the first female architect in the Philippines, as a major influence on her decision to pursue a profession in engineering. This inspiration, combined with her personal drive, led her to overcome the challenges posed by her early diagnosis of dyslexia. Her guidance fueled her career advancement and shaped her approach to management, which centers on personal growth and collective success.

Ms. Delamere has sought out opportunities that challenge her and enthusiastically approaches risk-taking. Her leadership is characterized by a willingness to push boundaries and encourage her teams to do the same. She takes pride in creating environments that push colleagues to excel. One of her most rewarding accomplishments was developing LifeNet while working at Physio-Control. This advanced device and a defibrillator transmit vital data to first responders and hospitals, saving lives during emergencies.

Outside her professional life, Ms. Delamere dedicates herself to mentoring young women in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM). She is a frequent speaker at leadership classes at Tahoma High School. She believes in empowering the next generation of women, especially in fields where they may often find themselves the only woman in the room. Ms. Delamere also strives to be a positive role model for her three daughters, instilling in them the belief that they can succeed in any endeavor they choose to pursue. Ms. Delamere’s achievements have gained significant recognition. She was nominated as one of the year’s top five chief technology officers, an honor highlighting her influence and contributions to the industry. However, her greatest sense of accomplishment comes from seeing her teams and direct reports thrive and receive the recognition they deserve. Mentoring is not just a responsibility but a source of joy and motivation for her.

In the years ahead, Ms. Delamere plans to continue building on her successes at Traject Data. She envisions further improvements to their product and technology offerings, particularly in machine learning and data matching. She also aims to remain an active participant in the mentoring and development of future leaders. By sharing her insights and experiences, she hopes to help others find quicker paths to success, just as her mentors did for her. In her personal life, Ms. Delamere enjoys spending time with her family, attending her children’s sporting events, engaging in do-it-yourself projects, and hobby farming. Her children remain her greatest motivation, and she is determined to show her family and society that with dedication and perseverance, anything is possible.
