Katie Beam

Since 2016, Katie Beam has been a real estate broker at Galloway Real Estate in Walpole, New Hampshire, where she is a trusted expert in commercial properties, residential purchases, and guiding first-time home buyers. In recognition of her professional prowess, she was named a trendsetter by the King Sentinel in 2023.

Parallel to her work in real estate, Ms. Beam is a technical claims specialist at Liberty Mutual Insurance and a workers’ compensation adjuster for Peerless Insurance. She began her insurance career as a senior commercial lines underwriting assistant at Peerless Insurance in 2009 after securing early experience at Liberty Mutual working as a disability claims case manager from 2006 to 2009. Beforehand, she earned a Bachelor of Arts in psychology and justice studies from the University of New Hampshire. Today, Ms. Beam is supremely credentialed, certified as a real estate broker and sales agent by the New Hampshire (NH) Real Estate Commission.

Alongside her primary roles, Ms. Beam is active in her industries and local communities. Since 2021, she has been a corporator at the Savings Bank of Walpole and serves as the board secretary for the Monadnock Board of Realtors. Since 2014, she has been the secretary of Hooper Hill Hoppers, and since 2019, she has contributed her time as a board member of the Monadnock Center for Violence Prevention. As a member of Women of Walpole and a troop leader for the Girl Scouts of the USA since 2018, Ms. Beam is a member of 100+ Women Who Care in Cheshire County, a group dedicated to community improvement.

Ms. Beam believes that success comes from hard work, prioritizing clients, maintaining a positive attitude, and staying calm through the often stressful home-buying process. Motivated to pursue a career in real estate after having children, she appreciates the flexibility and independence the field offers. Raised by a strong and self-motivated mother, Ms. Beam has always been driven to succeed and credits various role models throughout her life for setting positive examples that have influenced her career development. In balance to her professional endeavors, she enjoys quality time with her family, hiking 4,000-foot mountains in New Hampshire, and snowmobiling.
