With exceptional expertise in business analytics and strategic optimization, Natasha E. Brejnak has built a durable and versatile career. Since 2022, Ms. Brejnak has been the consulting director of business analysis for CNA Insurance, where she previously held the role of underwriting services director from 2016 to 2022. She began her tenure with the company in 2006 in various operations roles before accepting the position of WC analyst in 2008. Ms. Brejnak has consistently grown and risen through the ranks at CNA Insurance. From 2011 to 2016, she was the company’s WC analyst director before accepting her current role. Alongside her primary roles, she also has served as a member of the veterans’ board at CNA Insurance.

As the consulting director of business analysis, Ms. Brejnak is responsible for partnering with different departments within the company to enable underwriters to focus on production and reduce internal friction. She is dedicated to enhancing company systems and technology to better support their agents by increasing quotes, facilitating discussions, handling negotiations, and more. Among her notable professional wins, Ms. Brejnak played major parts in several enterprise-wide initiatives. Her achievements in these important projects have earned her a reputation for being highly knowledgeable and effective, and she takes pride in being the go-to colleague for representing underwriting in transition periods. In 2016, she was heavily involved in a company-wide change from using an outdated legacy system to a more advanced, user-friendly platform. The move was a significant milestone for CNA Insurance, as the business was one of the first to adopt this new system, which is now widely used across the organization.

After earning a Bachelor of Science degree in athletic training with a minor in recreation management from Appalachian State University, Ms. Brejnak began her career as an accounting associate with Office Depot LLC in 1999. Throughout her professional pursuits, she is proud to have built her personal brand around her commitment to helping others by serving her community. Her love for giving back has always been a driving force in her life, and she has been drawn to opportunities to contribute to the greater good. During her undergraduate education, she seriously considered serving in the military before changing paths, and in 2004, she served as a Liberty Center intern with the U.S. Department of Defense in Bahrain, an experience that left a lasting impression on her. When offered the chance to serve on the veterans’ board at CNA Insurance, Ms. Brejnak was thrilled to give back to those who have served their country.

Peering ahead, Ms. Brejnak is eager to embrace new opportunities and challenges and is committed to exploring a wider range of possibilities. In her leisure time, she enjoys traveling and supporting youth sports, believing that sports teach people how to be flexible, collaborate, and focus on a team-based mentality. She feels strongly that her experience with sports has helped her to grow and develop into the flexible, cooperative professional she is today. From firsthand experience, Ms. Brejnak knows that sports force people to become comfortable with discomfort, a skill that has proven invaluable throughout her career.
