Beverly Cornell

Beverly Cornell never planned to become an entrepreneur, yet she is thankful that she did. After working for a startup company, she witnessed firsthand how difficult it can be to launch a business. Due to her husband’s dedication to serving in the U.S. Army, the couple relocated every few years, making it challenging for her to secure high-level marketing jobs without a strong network or time to build those relationships. Even so, Ms. Cornell’s determination enabled her to later transition from working as a consultant to becoming a bona fide business owner, founding BC & Associates Marketing Corp. in Rochester Hills, Michigan, in 2011 and excelling as a reputation and growth strategist ever since.

At her now well-established firm, Ms. Cornell provides tailored marketing services to small businesses. She ascribes her success to her expertise, adaptability, and unwavering commitment to innovation and continual education. Moreover, she proudly and perennially conducts her business dealings with the utmost ethical standards. Above all, Ms. Cornell strongly believes in the value of partnership and information exchange, which empowers all parties involved and creates a shared sense of accomplishment.

Securing invaluable experience throughout her career, Ms. Cornell was the director of marketing and social media for Mango Languages from 2008 to 2011. She also was the marketing and sales director of IteroText Translation Services from 2006 to 2009, and, in 2007, founded Global Business Perspectives, which she led through 2011. Ms. Cornell began her career in 1998 as an account manager with BBDO, worked as a supervisor with the Retail Brand Alliance/Casual Corner Group, and was a marketing and business development manager with PALS International from 2004 to 2006.

In preparation for her professional pursuits, Ms. Cornell earned an Associate in liberal arts and business administration from Oakland Community College in 1997 and graduated from Oakland University with a Bachelor of Arts in communication in 1998. Continuing to pursue higher education after years of professional experience, she earned a Master of Arts in intercultural communication from Wayne State University in 2004. In addition to her degrees, she is Master Certified in the Sandler Sales Training Approach and is a Certified Raw Dog Food Nutrition Specialist with Dogs Naturally Magazine Inc.

Parallel to her work in marketing, Ms. Cornell has been a minister and leader with Stephen Ministries since 2019. She has served St. Ann’s Church as a reader, greeter, and Eucharistic minister since 2018, before which she was affiliated with the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. As a proud military wife and a strong believer in living her life in service to others, Ms. Cornell has contributed to Army Family Readiness in multiple roles since 2012. Further, she worked as a teacher of a U.S. Army family team building at Fort Bragg from 2012 to 2018. Showcasing her creative side, she originated and has authored “Lemonade Tales” since 2011. Expanding her reach, in 2024, Ms. Cornell began sharing her expertise as the host of the podcast “Spark & Ignite Your Marketing” and as the author of “Marketing for Entrepreneurs: The Quick Guide to Spark & Ignite Your Marketing.”

Among her many noteworthy professional accomplishments, Ms. Cornell considers helping numerous small business owners achieve their dreams as one of the most satisfying. She has her future sights set on expanding her team and cultivating a dedicated and skilled group of professionals to mentor. Ms. Cornell has restructured her business to function similarly to a real estate agency or law firm, with every team member owning their own business under the umbrella of BC & Associates Marketing Corp. Her commitment to profit sharing is reflected in the devotion of her team—as her dream and their dreams are aligned. Ms. Cornell hopes to foster the mutual growth of all their businesses.
