For Olga L. Morales, passionately providing care for others is at the center of her life, professionally and personally. Simultaneously, in Corona, California, she is the chief executive officer of Calla Lily Residential Care, Calla Lily Care Services Inc., as well as the owner and administrator at Calla Lily Residential Care. Further, she is the owner of Sunflower Residential Care, Sunflower ARF, Inc., and in 2024, became chief executive officer of the latter, continuing to provide residential care for adults with disabilities. Moreover, she is the owner, licensee, and co-administrator of The Geneva’s Home and the owner, licensee, and administrator of Noah’s Adult Home. She also spent 16 years as the administrator at Noah’s Ark and Rainbow Group Home.
Ms. Morales starts her workday early each morning, fielding phone calls, visiting different facilities to gather information about clients and their care providers, writing reports, supervising staff, and conducting training. She greatly appreciated her teams, who work collaboratively with her to provide opportunities for growth and expansion. Ms. Morales is always free to seek new avenues for expanding business and existing services without jeopardizing the day-to-day operations. She feels privileged to work with dozens of clients and staff and credits her diligence and persistence for her success.
Originally hailing from Cuba, Ms. Morales attended the Odesa Mechnikov National University in Odesa, Ukraine, graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Russian language and literature. Following her undergraduate education, she completed a master’s degree in physics and mathematics at the same institution. Initially, she planned to remain in Cuba but ended up staying in Canada, where she began learning English. After a friend suggested she immigrate to the United States, Ms. Morales moved to California in 1995. She concluded her higher education in 2003 at California Baptist University, where she completed coursework and an internship in marriage and family therapy. Through her work experience as a facility manager for developmentally disabled clients, she was motivated to become an advocate for those in need, launching her career in residential care.
In addition to her formal degrees, Ms. Morales has remained committed to her professional development and education throughout her career, earning numerous credentials and certifications. In 2023, she completed the “How to Set Goals When Everything Feels Like a Priority” training with LinkedIn. With the California Department of Education, she completed the administrator certification program, and with Community Care Licensing, she completed an orientation course for group homes. Dedicated to lifelong learning, Ms. Morales is pursuing courses on leadership and real estate investment to broaden her horizons and help her better serve others. Among her many professional achievements, she is proudest of being nominated for the Kennedy Award for Best Care Providers with the Inland Regional Center in 2003 and 1999. Ms. Morales has always believed that her clients’ success is her success, staying focused on providing the highest quality care possible and supporting her staff to be the best they can be.
Very active in her community, Ms. Morales directed missionary work from 1997 to 2004 and has contributed her free time to Feeding America and World Vision Inc. She also dedicates herself to helping military veterans and has directed a prayer group at her church. Ms. Morales enjoys quality time with her children, reading, going to museums, spending time in nature, visiting the beach, attending church, walking, and working on her autobiography. As the mother of four adoptive children whom she considers to be God’s gift to her, Ms. Morales has been proudly homeschooling them since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. She considers her relationship with God to be the most important aspect of her life, as she consults him daily for help and guidance. Her faith, she says, empowers her to be resilient in the face of failure, and she always emerges from setbacks stronger than she was before.
