Veteran educator Michelle D. Rauch, EdD, has applied her wisdom as a senior instructional designer and associate online professor for Arizona Christian University since 2013. Additionally, she has been a site supervisor and online professor since 2006 at Grand Canyon University. In these roles, Dr. Rauch is responsible for designing innovative learning environments, providing support through constructive feedback, creating policies and procedures for best practices, analyzing classroom settings, and supporting faculty in professional development. Prior to her current positions, she was an instructional designer and technologist with Arizona State University from 2014 to 2019.
Leading to her career, Dr. Rauch earned a Bachelor of Arts in education in 2004 at Arizona State University. In 2006, she graduated from the University of Phoenix with a Master of Arts in curriculum and instruction, after which she matriculated at Grand Canyon University. Dr. Rauch secured a Doctor of Education in organizational leadership and higher education in 2015 before continuing her studies at Purdue University Global, graduating in 2021 with a Master of Science in instructional design and technology.
Alongside her work as an educator, Dr. Rauch has found success through her written works. She authored “Strategies in the Classroom: Are They Working?” and “Leaders and Their Abilities: Temperament to Resiliency” with ProQuest in 2016 and 2015, respectively. Among her professional achievements, Dr. Rauch considers designing Arizona Christian University’s online program her most notable accomplishment in which she was allowed full control to construct the program, utilizing her knowledge and experience. A multiple Marquis Who’s Who honoree, Dr. Rauch received the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award and has been listed in the Who’s Who Top Educators and Who’s Who Humanitarian publications. She believes the keys to her success are her temperament, resiliency, and having overcome struggles and obstacles throughout her life. She also credits her continual curiosity, as she has never stopped pursuing personal and professional development. Dr. Rauch enjoys running and achieves a work-life balance by spending quality time with her husband, Larry, and four children.
