Since 2021, she has also served as chief operating officer and partner at Prosperiti Partners, overseeing all phases of commercial real estate development, from site acquisition to asset management.

Ms. Writer’s industry expertise is reflected in her active involvement with the National Association of Women in Construction and her role as a board member of the Missouri/Kansas Chapter of the U.S. Minority Contractors Association. Her journey into real estate was inspired by a close friend who recognized her potential in the field. Initially hesitant, she quickly discovered a passion for working with people and leading projects. Her background in leadership and customer service proved invaluable as she co-founded Prosperiti Brokers and expanded her role at Prosperiti Partners. Throughout her career, she has relied on adaptability and patience, particularly during challenges such as the COVID-19 pandemic.

Ms. Writer believes what sets her apart is her ability to bridge the gap between real estate expertise and a developer’s perspective. She not only assists with site selection, market research, and analysis but also identifies funding opportunities and potential incentives for projects. Guiding clients through the entire development process, she provides a comprehensive analysis at the project’s conclusion, offering strategic support in leasing or selling the property based on the owner’s goals. Her holistic approach ensures clients receive expert guidance from inception to completion.

Beyond her professional endeavors, Ms. Writer is deeply committed to civic engagement. Since 2018, she has actively supported The Rebound Foundation, providing transitional housing and financial literacy programs for women and families escaping domestic violence. She also serves on a local issues task force, reviewing ballot measures and recommending changes to city council development codes. In light of her impressive undertakings, she was named one of the Most Influential Women by the Springfield Business Journal in 2021.

Ms. Writer attributes her success to her patience and comprehensive knowledge of her work, which enable her to provide clients with the best and most current information. These qualities have elevated her understanding and expertise in her field. She continues to grow in every possible way. Looking to the future, she envisions expanding her portfolio with more commercial development projects, exploring political roles to create meaningful change, and completing a historic development project that holds personal significance. She also aims to take more vacations and collaborate with organizations on new opportunities.
