Tori Weeks

With a career defined by innovation, expertise and a deep commitment to advancing absence management practices, Tori Weeks, CEAS, has guided teams, shaped policies and championed initiatives that have left a lasting mark on the industry. As head of health and productivity, analytics and consulting practice at Prudential Financial, she oversees a team of senior analysts who partner with regional directors to deliver customized insights for stewardship meetings with clients. In this capacity, she manages a diverse block of business that includes customers, distribution partners and internal executives, while also contributing to thought leadership through research and article writing. 

Ms. Weeks’ educational background has played a critical role in shaping her professional journey. She is a graduate of the Signature Leaders program, where she earned the designation of signature select leadership graduate. She is also a certified ergonomics assessment specialist through The Back School and a certified workers’ compensation professional through Michigan State University. These academic achievements and professional certifications provided her with the tools to develop innovative solutions in absence management and workforce health, equipping her to lead effectively in a field that requires both technical expertise and strategic insight. 

Before assuming her current leadership role, Ms. Weeks was the senior director of health and productivity, analytics and consulting practice at Prudential Financial. She built on her expertise in trend analysis and policy development, delivering practical solutions for clients facing evolving workforce challenges. Earlier, as regional director within the same division, she was responsible for developing customized policies, cost projections, and executive summaries that secured senior leadership support for groundbreaking initiatives. Her work during this period advanced the alignment of absence management policies with organizational objectives and promoted effective return-to-work strategies. 

Ms. Weeks’s career also includes her tenure as director of workforce solutions at Unum, applying her skills in disability data analytics, engaging in national speaking opportunities and contributing to industry-wide research. Her earlier service at The Ohio State University encompassed multiple progressive leadership roles, including managing employee relations, strategy and risk management. Among her most notable achievements was the creation and implementation of the Transitional Return to Work Program, an initiative that required extensive collaboration across university departments and led to multimillion-dollar savings while improving support for employees returning to the workforce. 

At the outset of her career, Ms. Weeks worked at CareWorks in Dublin, Ohio, where she was team lead for extended case management. In that role, she medically managed workers’ compensation claims and eventually was promoted to a specialized team that supported major accounts, including The Ohio State University. This early experience fostered her passion for workers’ compensation and laid the foundation for her later innovations in absence management. 

Ms. Weeks’s leadership is not limited to her organizational roles. She has been deeply involved in professional associations, serving as past president of the Disability Management Employer Coalition and continuing to lend her expertise as a member of its executive advisory board. Her work has been recognized with honors, including the HR Excellence Award from Columbus CEO Magazine, underscoring her impact in shaping best practices and influencing positive change. 

Throughout her career, Ms. Weeks has been admired for her ability to blend strategic vision with practical implementation. She is widely recognized as an expert in transitional return-to-work programs, conducting analyses, preparing projections, drafting executive proposals and reviewing policies to ensure alignment with industry standards. Her expertise has guided organizations through the often-challenging process of addressing workforce health and productivity issues. 

Outside of her professional achievements, Ms. Weeks enjoys a balanced life filled with gardening, reading, traveling and spending time with friends. Looking to the future, she envisions continuing her leadership through mentorship, guiding her team’s growth while expanding her own expertise. In retirement, she plans to pursue consulting opportunities, enabling her to share her knowledge with future leaders and continue making meaningful contributions to the field.
