Having been interested in real estate her whole life, Rodica Iliescu spent her early career moving between various other industries, serving as a mechanical designer for Ontario Bus Industries Inc. from 1990 to 1992 and as the manager of dental offices and the treatment coordinator for Dr. Simion Musulan from 1992 to 2006. Finally achieving her broker’s license, she entered the field of real estate in 2006 as a broker with RE/MAX All Star Realty Inc., where she remains to this day. Her passion for the whole process of buying and selling has led to her cultivating significant expertise in commercial real estate, retail office spaces, and residential real estate. Above everything Ms. Iliescu loves helping her clients with their real estate needs and watching them grow.
Today, Ms. Iliescu represents with both landlords and tenants, negotiating on their behalf to find the perfect spaces for them to buy, sell or lease in the downtown Toronto area, and continues to do some work for her previous residential clients, though it is no longer her focus. In her real estate practice, she also has a team of dedicated staff who help her take care of the buildings and manage various aspects of the business. Looking toward the future, Ms. Iliescu hopes to continue growing her real estate career by having more listing offerings for buildings and grabbing all the opportunities she can in the Toronto real estate industry.
Feeling as though the sky is the limit, Ms. Iliescu is always seeking to do more and keep pushing forward to the next level and attributes much of her success to this attitude of perseverance and determination. She considers the highlight of her career to be breaking into the field of real estate as a woman. In an effort to remain up to date with developments in her field, Ms. Iliescu has maintained affiliation with a number of professional organizations including the Canadian Real Estate Association, the Ontario Real Estate Association, the National Organization for Women and the Institute for Luxury Home Marketing.
