With nearly 15 years of expertise in her profession, Renota Wade, MBA, CPCO, has developed an exceptional reputation for leadership in revenue cycle management (RCM). Recently launching and taking the helm as chief executive officer at Elite Revenue Recovery LLC in Chicago, she drives operational excellence and strategic growth. Day-to-day, Mrs. Wade focuses on assisting health care clients with their RCM systems. Her firm offers a range of services, including accounts receivable clean-up, trend analysis and interpretation, workflow optimization, and general consulting.

Before founding Elite Revenue Recovery LLC, Mrs. Wade worked as the revenue cycle manager at the Beloved Community Family Wellness Center based in Chicago. Her leadership prowess emerged while working for nearly a decade as the team lead at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. In that capacity, she resolved high-dollar payment denials and streamlined workflow efficiencies. Her professional path began in 2011 as the operations lead at Accretive Health (now R1 RCM), where she developed an understanding of the fundamentals of RCM and its intersection with health care.

As she progressed in her career, Mrs. Wade sought education to further her abilities. She obtained a Bachelor of Science in business administration and general studies from Colorado Technical University in 2024. She then earned a master’s degree in entrepreneurship from the same institution, graduating with the highest honors in 2025. Moreover, Mrs. Wade became a certified professional compliance officer (CPCO) through the American Academy of Professional Coders and was certified in the foundation of leadership through the National Society of Leadership and Success.

Mr. Wade’s industry involvement extends beyond her primary vocation. She serves on the alumni advisory board for the College of Business and Management at Colorado Technical University, following a competitive selection process in 2024. As vice president of the Chicago chapter of the American Academy of Professional Coders for two years, Mrs. Wade was honored with the Officer of the Year certificate, awarded to only one officer each year from the organization’s 500 chapters. She also maintains memberships in the Society of Corporate Compliance and Ethics and the Health Care Compliance Association.

Mrs. Wade attributes her success to an unwavering drive for self-improvement and resilience in overcoming personal challenges. Becoming a mother at 17 sparked her determination to pursue higher education and advance her career. Her own mother died when Mrs. Wade was just 25, leaving her to raise two teenage brothers while managing her own young family. She has handled these challenges with grace and perseverance, showcasing in her personal life the traits that have defined her professional achievements. With three children, five stepchildren, and nine grandchildren, Mrs. Wade is devoted to and values her family above all else. In her leisure time, her favorite hobbies are reading, candle-making, mountain hiking, and immersing herself in nature.

Optimistic about the future, Mrs. Wade is excited about expanding her ventures alongside her husband following their first property acquisition in 2023. Their shared goal is to enter the commercial real estate market to create spaces that support initiatives such as the Touch Foundation — a mission aligned with their commitment to addressing mental health needs within underserved communities. Mrs. Wade is active with her husband’s nonprofit organization, The Better Way, which provides resources for youth development through education, sports, and mental health outreach. She remains dedicated to making a meaningful impact professionally and within her community through continued leadership, advocacy, and service.
