Having achieved expert status in acne care and recognized for empowering female clients to embrace their self-worth, Rachell Pritt, LE, founded High Altitude Esthetics + Wellness in 2025. She has served as an aesthetician at her company since then, distinguishing herself by providing custom facials, holistic care and a comprehensive body experience for customers. Ms. Pritt’s approach is rooted in clean, natural skin care. She utilizes minimal and pure ingredients to promote overall skin health, while prioritizing the well-being of clients and encouraging them to treat themselves with kindness.
Ms. Pritt has meticulously designed the environment of High Altitude to relax clients from the moment they enter. She describes the studio as an ethereal single-room space with black walls and a striking floral installation suspended from the ceiling. The immersive, calming atmosphere is enhanced by crystals, galaxy lights and plants. This approach has led to organic growth within her close-knit Colorado ski town community, bringing in clients who resonate with her philosophy.
Across 15 years in the food and beverage industry and five years in the beauty field, Ms. Pritt’s journey has been marked by significant personal and professional milestones, even when encountering overwhelming challenges. Before establishing High Altitude Esthetics + Wellness, she suffered a severe bike accident resulting in injuries that required two surgeries and extensive physical therapy. While recovering from that accident, Ms. Pritt also faced debilitating anxiety. However, she overcame these obstacles through determination and resilience, pushing beyond her comfort zone and expanding her personal boundaries. She opened High Altitude at the end of this difficult period, an achievement that she considers to be the most notable of her life so far.
Prior to founding High Altitude, Ms. Pritt gained experience as an aesthetician at Skin Studio and another local spa. She refined her skills under the mentorship of Larisa, Skin Studio’s owner at the time, whose guidance inspired Ms. Pritt to uplift other women in the industry and fostered her commitment to helping others achieve success. Her early career includes several years as an assistant at a boutique salon, where she gained foundational knowledge of salon operations and client service. Before shifting to focus on beauty, she dedicated more than a decade to the food and beverage industry, most notably as a food and beverage manager at Vail Resorts.
Throughout her career, Ms. Pritt has drawn on her formal education. She earned a bachelor’s degree in nutrition and food science from Middle Tennessee State University in 2014. After deciding to pursue a career as an aesthetician, Ms. Pritt completed additional coursework at Aveda Institute Denver in 2021 and became a licensed aesthetician (LE) in 2022. She further advanced her credentials by obtaining certification as an acne expert from Face Reality Skincare in 2024. This educational background has provided her with a deep understanding of wellness principles that continue to inform her holistic approach to skin care.
Beyond her professional life, Ms. Pritt has been happily married to her spouse, Matt, since 2022. She enjoys mountain biking, skiing and generally spending time outdoors during her free time.
As her career has developed, Ms. Pritt has been recognized for her ability to build meaningful connections with clients. She cherishes the gratitude expressed by those whose lives she has positively impacted through her work. As she moves forward, Ms. Pritt envisions expanding into a larger wellness-focused collective that brings together practitioners with diverse modalities. She hopes to create an inclusive environment where women can access comprehensive care.
