Patricia F. Burlaud, PhD, has dedicated her career to leadership, education, and professional development, embodying resilience and vision across multiple disciplines. Currently serving as the founder, chief executive officer, and chief reinvention officer of P. Burlaud Consulting LLC, Dr. Burlaud provides strategic guidance to entrepreneurs, business leaders, and corporate executives. Through her consulting firm, she helps clients devise and implement actionable strategies to achieve their professional goals. Based in Orlando, Florida, her work reflects a lifetime of expertise in leadership coaching and professional training.

Dr. Burlaud’s academic journey laid the foundation for her illustrious career. She earned a Master of Science in nuclear and particle physics and a Doctor of Philosophy in high energy physics with a specialization in corpuscular physics from Université Paris-Sorbonne. Her work as a physicist took her to esteemed laboratories where she collaborated with Nobel Prize-winning teams at CERN. Later, she expanded her knowledge in life and career coaching through coursework at the Robbins Madanes Training-Coaching Academy, solidifying her passion for empowering individuals and organizations.

Before founding P. Burlaud Consulting, Dr. Burlaud accumulated decades of experience in leadership roles. She founded PBGAA LLC, providing higher education services to institutions pursuing national or international accreditations, licensures, or authorizations. She also served as the dean of operations, assessments, and accreditation for global academic programs at New York Institute of Technology, where she assembled and coached teams of leaders in locations such as China, the Middle East, and Canada. Her tenure as an associate dean at Zayed University further honed her skills in academic leadership and administration.

Dr. Burlaud also held prominent positions with the American Council on Education. As a National Executive Council Women’s Network committee adviser and a past state board chair for ACEWN-New York, she championed initiatives to empower women in higher education leadership. Her dedication to fostering leadership extended to her work in West Africa, where she participated in the French cooperation program for higher education. Over 23 years, she profoundly impacted students and colleagues, emphasizing human values over material wealth.

Dr. Burlaud reflects on her time in Africa as transformative, noting the profound dedication of her students, many of whom overcame significant obstacles to pursue their education. These experiences reinforced her belief in the power of resilience and the value of mentorship. One particularly meaningful moment in her career came years after teaching in Africa. A former student reached out to credit her inspiration for obtaining a scholarship in France and advancing to a leadership role in the oil industry. The recognition of her influence on the lives of others remains one of Dr. Burlaud’s most cherished accomplishments.

Dr. Burlaud’s contributions extend beyond her professional roles. She is a member of the Forbes Coaches Council and an active participant in civic organizations such as 100 Women Strong for Central Florida and the Central Florida Foundation. Her involvement reflects a commitment to fostering community and advancing opportunities for future leaders.
