Under her direction, Modular Maven has become a driving force in the off-site construction industry, pioneering strategies that elevate both company performance and community well-being. Her leadership also extends to the P4 Housing Collective, an organization she co-founded to advance housing solutions through modular innovation.
Ms. Macomber has had a long-standing interest in construction technology and the human side of industry. Inspired by her early experiences at Gordon Enterprises, she observed the assembly of Yellowstone lodges within a Boise factory and became fascinated by the connection between design, manufacturing and workforce morale. This experience sparked her dedication to roles that merge operational strategy with culture building.
As a result of her enduring impact and leadership, Ms. Macomber’s contributions have been recognized through numerous honors, including Idaho’s Top Workplace, USA Today’s Top Workplaces, the Global Future Design Award from APR Digest and the Community Pioneer Award. She has shared her thought leadership through engagements such as the World of Modular Annual Convention & Tradeshow, helping shape the future of modular construction and workforce culture.
Ms. Macomber has developed an extensive background in leadership, operations, and culture development across multiple organizations. As executive assistant to the chief executive officer, co-founder, and chief culture officer at Autovol, she has played an integral role in shaping a workplace culture recognized nationally for excellence and employee satisfaction. Her efforts in workforce development, employee engagement, and retention have contributed to Autovol earning Idaho’s Top Workplace and USA Today’s Top Workplaces honors, reflecting her influence in cultivating positive organizational environments.
In addition to her work with Autovol, Ms. Macomber is a managing partner at Waypaver International, overseeing business development initiatives and collaborating with clients to implement effective operational practices. She also holds the position of executive assistant to the chief executive officer and founder at Factory Devco, coordinating client relations, supporting sales strategy and guiding factory tours that showcase advancements in modular construction.
Earlier in her career, Ms. Macomber was the chief culture officer at Prefab Logic, LLC, helping establish the company’s core values centered on employee well-being and operational excellence. Before stepping into executive leadership, she gained valuable financial experience as an accountant at Jitasa, managing organizational records and ensuring fiscal accuracy. Her tenure at Guerdon Modular Buildings proved especially formative, as she progressed through multiple departments including safety management, human resources and employee engagement, helping streamline administrative functions and enhance team cohesion.
Beyond her professional achievements, Ms. Macomber is deeply involved in civic and philanthropic initiatives that align with her passion for service. She founded the Modular Maven Foundation to promote innovation and community outreach within the off-site construction industry. She also serves as treasurer on the board of directors for The Freedomhill Project ALC and as founder and executive director of DragonFlybrary, a nonprofit dedicated to suicide awareness and children’s advocacy, established in memory of her two siblings. Her community engagement includes work as development director for SIP and Salvage, volunteer service with Habitat for Humanity International, and participation in committees for both the Modular Building Institute and Boys & Girls Clubs of Napa Valley.
Born in Prescott, Ms. Macomber finds balance and inspiration through time spent with her daughter, Maraiya. She enjoys traveling, painting, and crafting, activities that reflect her creative nature and appreciation for life’s details. Looking ahead, she aims to expand her international presence through the development of a fully automated robotic facility for housing production, an initiative that underscores her vision to strengthen the off-site construction industry, increase manufacturing innovation, and create workplaces centered on human potential.
