Kimberly Ann Flory, RPh, BCMTMS, has built a robust and diversified career in pharmacy and in financial coaching, driven by a passion for helping others achieve wellness and financial independence. A graduate of Duquesne University, she earned her Bachelor of Science in pharmacy in 1994, laying the groundwork for her extensive career in the health care industry. She began as a pharmacist at Revco Discount Drug Stores, which was later acquired by CVS Health Corporation, where she continued to work for more than a decade. Her vast experience as a pharmacist also includes eight years previously with Publix Pharmacy and currently with Prevent Rx 2 and HealthCare Consultants Pharmacy Staffing and Consulting in Fort Myers, Florida.
In 2021, Ms. Flory founded Flory Financial Coaching in Fort Myers, offering personalized assistance to help clients achieve their financial goals. She provides customized tools and templates tailored to each client’s needs, whether they need help getting out of debt, paying off a house, or building an emergency fund. Her services are available in person and via Zoom, making her accessible to clients across the United States and even internationally. Her goal is to empower clients to feel confident in making their financial decisions independently while also providing ongoing support for those who value external accountability.
Throughout her career, Ms. Flory has amassed a wealth of certifications, including becoming a registered pharmacist (RPh) and a board-certified medication therapy management specialist (BCMTMS). Her professional journey also led her to become a certified financial coach through Dave Ramsey’s Financial Coach Master Training Program and the Financial Coach Academy. Ms. Flory’s dedication to her profession and clients is evident in all her work. From her impactful contributions to vaccination efforts, which earned her department-wide acknowledgment, to receiving bonuses from Aspen RxHealth for surpassing consultation targets, her achievements highlight her exceptional performance and commitment to excellence.
Ms. Flory is deeply involved in her community, founding The Debt-Free Pharmacist group and serving as a board member and volunteer for the EHL Fragile X Foundation Inc. In the next five years, she envisions transitioning into financial coaching as her full-time occupation. She aims to build a sufficient client base for coaching under the brand name The Debt-Free Pharmacist and leverage her personal journey to support others in attaining financial independence. Additionally, Ms. Flory plans to expand her business, conduct speaking engagements, visit colleges and universities, and start webinars. She also seeks to ultimately start a podcast, viewing this venture as another platform for giving back and assisting individuals in their quest for financial freedom.
