Katie Henry

Katie Henry has established herself as a strategic operations leader with a proven track record in driving quality, safety, and organizational change. Since 2022, she has served as vice president of Quality, Health, Safety and Environment (QHSE) and Change Management at dormakaba, where she leads health and safety programs, drives quality initiatives, and oversees strategic improvements across operations.

Ms. Henry’s work extends beyond her organization. She’s an active member of Women in Manufacturing, the Security Industry Association, and the American Society for Quality. She is also deeply committed to community service. Since 2021, she has volunteered as the food pantry intake team leader at the Al Huda Islamic Center of Indiana, and from 2016 to 2020, she coached fourth-grade volleyball with the Catholic Youth Organization. In recognition of her efforts in mentoring and development, she received the Hero Award from Landsberg Orora in 2021.

Before joining dormakaba, Ms. Henry held a series of leadership roles at Landsberg Orora, where she played a key role in optimizing operations. From 2020 to 2022, she was director of operations, focusing on streamlining processes and enhancing performance. She also led procurement improvements as the procure-to-pay process champion from 2019 to 2022, and served as a regional quality manager, regional operations manager, and operations manager during her tenure.

Moreover, Ms. Henry’s background includes a strong foundation in food safety and quality assurance, with earlier positions at Eden Foods Inc., Jarden Home Brands, and Kerry Group. She began her career in customer service and sales as a Retail Consultant at AT&T. Laying an educational foundation, she earned a bachelor’s degree in interdepartmental biology and chemistry from Earlham College and holds an honors diploma from The Indiana Academy.

Reflecting on her path, Ms. Henry considers her greatest achievement to be the growth of the teams she has had the privilege to lead. She is driven by a core belief that people want to be respected, heard, and appreciated, no matter their role. Her leadership style centers on empathy, accountability, and empowering others.

In her personal life, Ms. Henry enjoys cooking, biking, playing volleyball, and spending time with her family, including her husband and three children. Looking ahead, she is focused on integrating emerging technologies, with a focus on artificial intelligence, into quality and safety practices.

Ms. Henry is also committed to building strong, capable teams, supporting the next generation of leaders, and continuing to make an impact in the security and manufacturing industries. In the coming years, she aims to keep growing within dormakaba and the broader industry, while continuing to empower those around her.
