For more than 30 years, Jeannine Mayfield-Marchette has built a distinguished career marked by leadership and innovation across multiple industries. That path has culminated in her two current primary roles: director of client services and strategic partnerships at Contemporary Services Corporation (CSC), a national leader in event security and management; and owner of Marchette Travel.
In her directorial capacity at CSC since 2022, Ms. Mayfield-Marchette oversees business development and ensures that the expectations of both clients and internal teams are consistently met. Her responsibilities include developing new business opportunities, managing strategic partnerships, and supporting local outreach initiatives within the Los Angeles community. Ms. Mayfield-Marchette also serves as a board member at Contemporary Services Corporation, where she plays a pivotal role in securing contracts with major venues, including the Rose Bowl and the Los Angeles Convention Center. She has invaluable experience working on high-profile events, having managed operations for three separate Super Bowls.
Beyond her work with CSC, Ms. Mayfield-Marchette has operated Marchette Travel since 2018. Her boutique agency specializes in luxury travel plans for families and groups. This endeavor draws on Ms. Mayfield-Marchette’s passion for travel and her extensive background in client services, enabling her to offer unique experiences to clients worldwide. Her approach emphasizes creativity and personalized service, resulting in lasting relationships with clients who frequently share their travel stories with her. Ms. Mayfield-Marchette considers her ability to build lasting relationships to be her most notable achievement. That trait has enabled her to thrive with Marchette Travel, even during challenging periods such as the COVID-19 pandemic.
Further diversifying her entrepreneurial portfolio, Ms. Mayfield-Marchette also operated Marchette Services from 2020 to 2023. Prior to launching her own businesses, she established herself as an operations manager at WSP and Houlder Ltd., an executive administrator at G.E.T. Enterprises and an office manager at Mitsui & Co. Before 2010, Ms. Mayfield-Marchette gained foundational experience as an account executive at Idea Integration, national account specialist at Valassis (now R.R. Donnelley & Sons Company), marketing coordinator at Eventure GT, and new business associate at WPP plc, GroupM, and Mindshare Media Ltd. Her professional life began in 1994 with a ten-year run as an administrative assistant with BBDO Worldwide, where she worked with major partners like Pepsi.
Ms. Mayfield-Marchette’s education provided the basis for her initial entry into the advertising sector and set the stage for subsequent achievements across media, marketing, and client services. She earned an Associate of Applied Science in advertising and marketing from the City University of New York in 1992.
Through personal challenges and professional transitions alike, Ms. Mayfield-Marchette has been guided by a strong philosophy: that obstacles can be overcome by seeking alternative solutions and never accepting defeat. She attributes her success to the perseverance, positive outlook, and determination this mindset affords. Beyond her corporate responsibilities, Ms. Mayfield-Marchette, a caring mother to three and grandmother to two, cherishes time with her family. In her free time, she finds fulfillment through travel, getting to know new people, reading books, and mentoring former employees and junior staff.
