Jacquelyn Baillie

Jacquelyn Baillie takes great pride in having learned and developed a strong work ethic since she was a youth and has been steadily, gainfully employed ever since. Growing up in a family watching the individual entrepreneurial accomplishments of her grandparents, aunts, and uncles inspired her as an adult to take on executive roles along with owning and operating her own businesses. As a result, Ms. Baillie, who has been involved in Microsoft business for more than 20 years, is the managing director and chief executive officer of TekkiGurus started in 2023, the managing director and partner of Microsoft 365 Collaboration Conference since 2017, and the co-founder and chief executive officer of IntellisourceIT since 2017—all located in California.

Formidable and respected in her profession, Ms. Baillie is an active member on the boards of Women in Technology and Forbes. Among her many achievements, she counts her greatest to date as starting TekkiGurus and building its vital, ever-growing, and highly interactive community. Her goal is to have the largest, most viable community of its kind that exists anywhere. Off to an auspicious start, TekkiGurus, as an example, offers extensive information, consultation and support as an online platform dedicated to providing technology-related news, insights, and resources to Microsoft technology enthusiasts worldwide, according to the company’s website.

With Ms. Baillie’s keen oversight, the TekkiGurus website covers a broad range of topics about various top programs, including Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams, Power Platform, Windows, Dynamics 365, AI, Security, Azure SQL, and others. Overall, TekkiGurus.com aims to provide a comprehensive resource for technology enthusiasts of all levels, from beginners to advanced users, with information and insights to help them stay current and make informed decisions. Similarly in person at Microsoft 365 Collaboration Conferences, she works with featured speakers, workshops, sessions, and exhibitors. At IntellisourceIT, Ms. Baillie leads a team of tenured and knowledgeable media experts who help corporate clients provide quality messaging to their customers and target key markets through lead generation, relevant premium content, and thought leadership messaging through webinars, custom videos, whitepapers, and digital marketing.

Ascribing to her favorite motto, “People don’t care about how much you know until they know how much you care,” Ms. Baillie says what she enjoys most about her profession is interacting and collaborating with colleagues and others with whom she works. Her passion and love for the technology industry and its innovative nature have kept her driven to continually build her unique community. Grateful for the professional and personal relationships she has forged throughout the years, Ms. Baillie added that some of her employees have followed her to three different companies. Such loyalty points to one of the traits that she believes separates her and makes her a good leader: knowing how to bring and keep people together at all levels. Also contributing to Ms. Baillie’s success, she cites, is her ability to grasp information and concepts quickly, which has tremendously helped her career growth from starting in sales to becoming an entrepreneur.

In previous positions, Ms. Baillie co-founded and was the managing director of IT Unity from 2014 to 2017, the managing director of Penton Media/SharePoint Pro/WITP/SQL between 2004 and 2013, the national sales manager of Dot Com Promotions from 1997 to 2004, and the chief executive officer of Sandia Swimwear between 1994 and 1997. Laying a solid educational foundation, she earned a Bachelor of Arts from California State University, Fullerton in 1995.

Caring for causes as well as her companies and colleagues, Ms. Baillie donates to charity, including two orphanages in Vietnam, believing that if an individual is doing well financially in life, then giving back to society is a responsibility. Most personally and proudly, she is the mother of sons Aiden and Lucas, whom she describes as avid gamers. In addition to prioritizing time with them, Ms. Baillie enjoys playing tennis, traveling, cooking, and bowling.
