Diana Faison Bradley, MD, began her professional journey at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in psychology and a Master of Science in sports psychology and exercise physiology. It was during this time that she was drawn to the medical field after attending a management seminar where she was asked about her five-year goals. Realizing she wanted to help people by easing and preventing suffering, she began taking premed courses and was accepted into the Emory School of Medicine at Emory University. She managed a health club in between her college and post-baccalaureate studies in preparation for medical school, went on to achieve her Doctor of Medicine, and became certified by the American Academy of Family Physicians.

In 2001, Dr. Bradley established Family Care of Fairview, a private practice that focuses on disease prevention, where she continues to excel as a physician and owner. Her day-to-day duties include patient care, diagnosis, and treatment, as well as executive management and practice administration. Furthermore, she notes that she incorporates a variety of complementary alternative care practices into the medical regimens she prescribes as ways to supplement traditional medicine. In addition to her work as a physician, she strives to serve her patients as a coach and educator as well, teaching her patients how to care for themselves. In order to keep abreast of developments in her field, Dr. Bradley maintains professional affiliation with the American Academy of Family Physicians.

As she looks toward the future, Dr. Bradley intends to continue on much as she has been, as she loves her practice. In addition, she has spent time doing international medical missionary work in Jamaica and remains involved in her local church. When she isn’t working, she enjoys gardening, aquaculture, cooking and car tracking. She looks forward to traveling more internationally and currently aspires to become a race car driver. Attributing much of her success to her father, a retired surgeon who instilled in her a strong work ethic, Dr. Bradley has been recognized as an Outstanding Young American and a Marquis Who’s Who Top Doctor.
