Devika Mohan’s professional journey reflects a steady rise shaped by ambition, strategic insight, and an ability to guide complex organizations through rapid change. She has earned recognition for her leadership across global markets and for her capacity to build trust with high-level partners while navigating emerging technologies and evolving business landscapes. In her role as global account executive for new age at Wipro, she leads strategic discussions for one of the world’s most influential technology brands, Google, working closely with industry experts to address advanced challenges and deliver innovative solutions. 

Ms. Mohan’s academic foundation has played a central role in her approach to leadership and client engagement. She earned a Master of Business Administration in entrepreneurship and innovation from The Wharton School in Philadelphia and a Bachelor of Science in computer science from the New York University-Polytechnic School of Engineering in New York City. This blend of technical and business expertise has equipped her to work across sectors and guide organizations through digital transformation. 

Before her current position, Ms. Mohan held several leadership roles at Wipro that expanded her scope of influence and deepened her knowledge of global markets. As senior director of strategic growth for private equity, advertising, beauty, retail, media, and entertainment, she drove expansion efforts across multiple industries and brought a nuanced understanding of client needs to each engagement. Prior to that role, she worked as client partner for private equity, communications, media, and entertainment, where she strengthened key relationships and delivered customized solutions for high-profile accounts. 

Earlier in her tenure at Wipro, Ms. Mohan worked as a director and account executive for digital solutions, contributing to major digital transformation initiatives and reinforcing the company’s competitive position. As a global business manager, she led cross-functional teams and oversaw complex projects that spanned multiple regions, further refining her strategic and operational capabilities. 

Prio to joining Wipro, Ms. Mohan spent several years at RBC Capital Markets, where she advanced from senior associate to global head of client and vendor technology relations. In these roles she managed international teams and cultivated relationships across Toronto and London, carrying significant responsibility for client connectivity and technology alignment. Her earlier experience at JPMorgan Chase laid the groundwork for her career in financial services technology. During her time with the firm, she held roles in global client-facing solutions, business analysis and fiduciary product support. She also gained early professional experience as a summer analyst with Merrill Lynch, which introduced her to the pace and demands of multinational financial institutions. 

At sixteen, Ms. Mohan launched her first business, an accomplishment that fueled her confidence and set the direction for a career defined by entrepreneurial thinking and resilience. Throughout her journey she has remained committed to professional growth and to the belief that ambition, when paired with a willingness to adapt, opens doors to meaningful advancement. 

Ms. Mohan’s involvement in industry organizations reflects that commitment. At Wipro she has participated in the DEI Council and previously engaged with the Society of Women Engineers. Her success has been supported by mentors and sponsors who offered guidance and opened pathways at decisive moments in her development, reinforcing the importance of sponsorship in shaping career trajectories. 

Ms. Mohan has strengthened her expertise through certifications that support digital innovation. She is an enterprise design thinking practitioner and holds Watson and cloud foundations credentials from IBM. These qualifications have enhanced her ability to lead transformation initiatives and to deliver strategic value across high-impact engagements. 

Outside of her professional responsibilities, Ms. Mohan is the parent of two children and remains deeply committed to mentoring and uplifting others. She envisions continuing her career progression by leading a large sales organization or assuming the role of chief revenue officer. She also plans to expand her community impact through initiatives such as mentoring young talent or sharing insights through a podcast.
