Christina L. Suter, MA, was inspired to pursue a career in business and real estate by her mother, Frances Kellogg Smith, an accomplished entrepreneur. Receiving an early education in finance, she owned her first stock at 9 years old and opened her first bank account at 12. In 1986, at the age of 17, she began investing in earnest and also took charge of the family home, bequeathed to her by her mother, which she rented to her aunt and uncle. In 1991, she earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Southern California and went on to achieve an associate degree and teacher’s credential from Loyola Marymount University in 1996. Ms. Suter began her career as a teacher prior to establishing Smith Magnolia Properties in 1998.

In 2000, Ms. Suter founded Ground Level Consulting and completed her master’s degree in spiritual psychology at the University of Santa Monica. This was followed by the establishment of Christina Suter Consulting in 2005, where she continues to flourish as a real estate investment specialist. In this role, she offers her considerable expertise in passive investment, residential real estate, and single and multi-family homes to individuals in multiple states. Around the time she established Christina Sutter Consulting, she also began flipping homes and owned 250 houses across California, Oregon, Texas, Tennessee and Virginia. In 2008, Ms. Suter capped off her formal studies by earning certification in the cellular harmonizing regenerative integration system from the Schenk Human Energetic Institute.

Considering her greatest professional achievement to be her consistent commitment to real estate, Ms. Suter finds incredible gratification in helping her clients take financial leadership in their lives, particularly when they came to her with limited to no experience. She greatly enjoys seeing people discover the confidence and freedom those skills bring and feels honored to be able to make a difference in her clients’ lives. In addition, she has had multiple career highlights throughout the years, the most notable of which was retitling a piece of land in Hawaii, for which she formed a condo association and oversaw the sale of the land. Ms. Suter also recalls when she bought a condo for her brother and worked with a property manager to rent it out.

Alongside her primary responsibilities, Ms. Suter has contributed her skills to a number of other professional endeavors. Co-authoring “You Got This! On Real Estate Investing Success” in 2019, she launched “Real Estate Breakthrough,” a podcast where she offers advice and interviews fellow experts in the real estate field, in 2020. She notably received an award for her excellence as a talk show host and is active with the Raven International Broadcast Media Empire. In addition, she helped to found FIBI Pasadena, a real estate school affiliated with For Investors By Investors, and holds membership with the Apartment Owners Association of California, Inc. As a result of her time in education, Ms. Suter spent a decade on the board of Resources for Infant Educarers.

Ms. Suter attributes much of her success to her determination to improve the lives of others and stands out in her field for her focus on transformation, abundance and freedom. Above everything, she hopes to leave a legacy as someone with integrity who puts a strong emphasis on paying it forward for others, noting that it’s not how big you are, it’s how you choose to live. Grateful to the many mentors she has had over the years, including her mother, Bruce North, and Ken McElroy, Ms. Suter would advise young and aspiring professionals to know who they are and to be leaders in their own lives.

Happily married, Ms. Sutter enjoys spending her free time with her teenage daughter as well as indulging in her hobbies of dancing and skiing. As she looks toward the future, she intends to continue caring for her daughter and focusing on her career. Ms. Suter seeks to achieve the yearly goals she sets for herself while also furthering her commitment to self-awareness.
