With a career defined by innovation, strategic growth and deep insight into partner ecosystems, Cheryl S. Cook has become a respected voice in global sales and marketing leadership. Her expertise spans the design and execution of go-to-market strategies, with a particular emphasis on channel partnerships that drive sustained business success. As senior vice president of global partner marketing at Dell Technologies, Dell Inc., she plays a central role in aligning marketing strategies with global business objectives, helping to fuel partner engagement, scale market reach and generate value across Dell’s vast ecosystem. 

Ms. Cook’s professional journey is anchored by a solid academic foundation. She holds a Bachelor of Science in computer science from the University of Florida, where she developed the technical fluency and analytical discipline that would support her leadership in the technology sector. Throughout her career, she has received several honors that reflect her impact and leadership. She was one of the first recipients of the Lifetime Achievement Award from Channel Economics LLC and was recognized multiple times as one of CRN’s Most Influential Channel Chiefs by The Channel Company. Her inclusion on CRN’s Power 100 Women of the Channel and Channel Futures’ Top Gun 51 highlights her continued influence in shaping the future of partner engagement and go-to-market strategy. 

Before assuming her current executive position, Ms. Cook held several senior leadership roles within Dell Technologies. She was senior vice president of global partner marketing for DELL EMC and vice president of global channels and alliances. In these roles, she helped transform Dell’s approach to channel partnerships, scaling programs that aligned closely with market trends and partner needs. She was also vice president of enterprise solutions, where she advanced initiatives aimed at optimizing Dell’s enterprise offerings for customers navigating digital transformation. 

Ms. Cook’s influence in the technology industry is also shaped by earlier leadership roles at other major organizations. She was senior vice president of Americas sales at Nuance Communications Inc., now part of Microsoft, managing revenue growth across North and South America. At Sun Microsystems, now Oracle, she held a range of sales leadership positions, culminating in her role as senior vice president of global accounts and industries. Her career began at NCR Corporation, now NCR Voyix Corporation and NCR Atleos Corporation, where she held positions of increasing responsibility in sales management and business development. 

Beyond her corporate responsibilities, Ms. Cook is actively involved in several professional organizations and advisory boards. She is a member of Channel Focus Club 50 by Baptie & Company and Women in Technology. She is on the board of advisors for Avnir LLC and the Channel Executive Council at Baptie & Company. In addition, she holds a board position with ARC Document Solutions LLC and contributes to the University of Florida Foundation and Warrington College of Business advisory boards. 

Ms. Cook plans to deepen her engagement through advisory work, offering strategic guidance to companies and partners seeking to sharpen their go-to-market strategies. She is especially interested in artificial intelligence’s transformative potential and how it reshapes the customer experience, product development, and operations across industries.
