Carey Sealy

With more than 30 years of experience in workplace strategy and operational leadership, Carey Sealy has built a career focused on driving performance, efficiency, and innovation. She currently excels as the global head of operational excellence at JLL, where she leads the delivery of integrated real estate services for major clients, including IBM and Cisco. JLL develops programs, technologies, and platforms that support day-to-day operations, equipping clients with tools and expertise to improve efficiency, service delivery, and overall portfolio value.

In this role, Ms. Sealy brings together strategic insight and operational discipline to create solutions that meet the complex needs of modern enterprises. She collaborates closely with account leaders, clients, and teams to understand client needs and design tailored solutions. She oversees the development of programs, technologies, and platforms that optimize building portfolios, enhance client and employee experiences, and support the outsourcing and management of facilities.

Ms. Sealy began her career at JLL in 2018 as managing director of global transformation, where she led major organizational change initiatives. Before joining JLL, she served as senior vice president of transformation at XPO Logistics Inc. from 2016 to 2017, gaining expertise in leading large-scale transformations. From 2015 to 2016, she was vice president of transformation and Lean Six Sigma at CBRE Global Workplace Solutions EMEA.

Earlier in her career, Ms. Sealy held several leadership roles at Johnson Controls between 2013 and 2015, including vice president of transformation and Lean Six Sigma. From 2001 to 2013, she worked at CHEP, where she served as senior director of global operations and director of customer loyalty programs. Her professional journey began with consulting roles at Stonebridge Technologies, PwC, James Martin Government Consulting, and ICF, where she built a strong foundation.

Ms. Sealy has prioritized continuous learning and leadership development throughout her career. She holds a Bachelor of Science in business administration with concentrations in international business and computer science from American University in Washington, D.C., completed in 1991. Moreover, she has earned numerous professional certifications: Six Sigma Black Belt from ASQ World Headquarters, Project Management Professional certification from the Project Management Institute, and executive leadership programs at the INSEAD CEDEP Executive Program and the Center for Creative Leadership.

Ms. Sealy is also deeply engaged in civic and community initiatives. She is an active member of the Executive Council for Leading Change and volunteers with organizations such as Edible Education and Harry P. Leu Gardens. Additionally, she serves as a mentor with Orlando Women Leaders, where she supports women advancing in leadership roles and champions diversity in traditionally male-dominated industries. Reflecting on her path, she is grateful for the two companies that supported her advocacy efforts and allowed her to pursue leadership development. She also credits much of her success to the guidance and influence of exceptional mentors.

Outside of her professional life, Ms. Sealy enjoys spending time with her family, gardening, and growing her own vegetables. Looking to the future, she is passionate about mentoring a diverse group of women into leadership roles within the Orlando area and is committed to continuing her work in leveraging digital technology to drive innovation. She also aspires to attain an executive leadership position at JLL while promoting a structured, strategic approach to organizational transformation.
