Beth Gilmore Reineke, Esq., has established a stellar career in law across more than three decades, marked by her commitment to resolving family law disputes with civility and efficiency. Since 2005, she has excelled as the founder and lead attorney and mediator at Reineke Mediations in Tampa, Florida, where she focuses on mediating divorce and other family law disputes. Her expertise includes analyzing financial records, preparing financial schedules for asset and liability distribution, assisting with financial affidavits, calculating child support and alimony, and drafting legally enforceable contracts such as marital settlement agreements and parenting plans. Ms. Reineke also prepares all necessary court documents for uncontested divorces and other family law matters, providing comprehensive legal assistance to her clients.

Prior to establishing Reineke Mediations, Ms. Reineke found success as the founder and managing partner of Reineke & Associates, P.A., formerly known as The Law Office of Beth G. Reineke, Esq. P.A., from 1993 to 2005. In this capacity, she handled a broad array of legal matters including collections, landlord-tenant issues in both residential and commercial contexts, lien work, guardianship cases as both an attorney and guardian ad litem, estate planning, foreclosures, corporate matters and employment law. As her practice evolved and her reputation in family law grew, Ms. Reineke gradually shifted her focus to complex family law cases.

Before embarking upon her professional path, Ms. Reineke earned her Juris Doctorate from the University of Florida Levin College of Law in 1990. She became a licensed attorney that same year and initially practiced exclusively in corporate law for three years before transitioning to family law in 1997. That year marked a pivotal shift as she became a Supreme Court-certified mediator, setting the stage for her future specialization.

Ms. Reineke’s dedication to family law is underscored by her board certification as a marital and family lawyer by The Florida Bar between 2000 and 2015, having been selected for certification out of only 22 attorneys statewide who passed the rigorous committee review process. With a pass rate below 50 percent, only her and one other attorney succeeded that year. Ms. Reineke remained among the 270 board-certified attorneys in Florida throughout her tenure, a testament to her expertise and prominence in the field.

In addition to her legal practice, Ms. Reineke has contributed significantly as an educator and author. She wrote “Before the Battle: Choosing Peace in Divorce Through Pre-Suit Mediation,” published by Jacobs & Whitehall in 2026 and available on Amazon. A frequent contributor to the National Business Institute, Ms. Reineke has also penned several articles on charging liens for the Florida Bar Journal, Hillsborough County Bar Association’s Journal and Family Law Commentator as well as an article on collecting child support, “A Single Parent’s Bill of Rights” for multiple outlets, and “10 Tips From a Divorce Attorney on How to Save Your Marriage” for the Tampa Bay Times. 

As an instructor, Ms. Reineke has taught miscellaneous family law matters for other lawyers through the Florida Bar Association and Hillsborough County Bar Association. She is additionally committed to civic engagement as a volunteer teacher at the Center for Women, where she leads seminars about family law for individuals considering divorce. Moreover, Ms. Reineke volunteers teaching younger family law attorneys through civil groups.

Ms. Reineke’s commitment to advancing collaborative approaches is evident through advanced training as a collaborative divorce attorney and facilitator, completion of collaborative divorce training, certification as a parent coordinator and training as a family law arbitrator that same year. For three years, She served as president of a local collaborative divorce association where she managed nonprofit filings, bylaws and articles of incorporation while focusing on marketing initiatives and organizing group-sponsored trainings.

Throughout her career, Ms. Reineke has been actively involved with numerous professional organizations including the Solo Practitioner Section, Dispute Resolution Section and Family Law Section of both the Hillsborough County Bar Association and The Florida Bar Association since 1990. A member of the Family Law Executive Council for the Hillsborough County Bar Association from 2000 to 2023, she was appointed as a master with the Stann Givens Family Law Inn of Court. Ms. Reineke has also been affiliated with the National Association of Family and Conciliation Courts, the Florida Academy of Professional Mediators, and the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals.

Ms. Reineke’s approach emphasizes assisting families in resolving disputes amicably without incurring excessive costs. A significant portion of her practice is dedicated to pro se parties, who are couples who wish to avoid litigation expenses by not hiring separate attorneys, making her one of the few mediators willing to work directly with such clients during emotionally charged cases. Her innovative strategy of pursuing mediation before filing lawsuits has set her apart locally; for several years, she was the only mediator in her area offering this service.

Ms. Reineke’s achievements have been recognized through numerous accolades, including being honored as a a Top Women in Law by Tampa Style Magazine in 2025 and Top Female Attorney in Florida for Client Satisfaction by the American Institute in 2026. She was further presented with the 10 Best Female Attorneys Award in 2025 and the Best of the Best Attorney Award in 2026. Moreover, Ms. Reineke received Lead Counsel Verified status from both Martindale-Hubbell and FindLaw.

Ms. Reineke notably earned a Bachelor of Science in finance from the University of South Florida in 1987 before graduating with her Juris Doctorate at University of Florida Levin College of Law in 1990. She had been certified as a divorce and family law mediator by the Supreme Court of the United States since 1997 and board-certified as a marital and family lawyer by The Florida Bar from 2000 to 2015.
