She is also responsible for briefing leadership on new requirements and overseeing the upgrading of storage systems, all while tracking and prioritizing a steady influx of technical needs. Her extensive knowledge of software requirements for the department’s largest referral system underscores her critical contributions to the agency’s mission. 

Ms. Gregory’s academic foundation plays a central role in her effectiveness as a leader in government operations. She holds a Master of Health Administration Management with a specialization in information technology from Colorado State University Global. This graduate education gave her a robust understanding of both the technical and managerial aspects of her work. Her earlier studies include a Bachelor of Business Administration from Colorado State University, as well as two associate degrees from Blue Mountain Community College—one in criminal justice and another in medical office management and administration. This strong educational base equipped Ms. Gregory with a unique blend of skills that enabled her to navigate complex systems with both technical precision and strategic insight. 

Before transitioning into her current role, Ms. Gregory served as a senior voucher examiner within the Department of Veterans Affairs. In that position, she was instrumental in reducing the backlog of requirements by 30 percent, demonstrating her strong problem-solving abilities and her dedication to improving workflows and organizational performance. Her efforts in this role laid the groundwork for her advancement and further affirmed her reputation as a results-driven professional. 

Ms. Gregory’s drive for continuous improvement is evident in her pursuit of professional development opportunities. She has earned several certifications through LinkedIn Learning, including learning Jira (Cloud Edition), Agile at Work: driving productive Agile meetings, and Excel and Visio: generating diagrams automatically. She also holds a professional certificate in criminal justice. Outside of her professional accomplishments, Ms. Gregory is a proud and engaged mother to three children. Balancing a demanding career with raising a family remains one of her most fulfilling achievements. In her personal time, she enjoys outdoor activities such as fishing and mountain trailing, as well as creative pursuits like soap making.  

Looking ahead, Ms. Gregory aspires to deepen her knowledge in project management and earn additional certifications. She also plans to pursue a doctorate degree, reinforcing her lifelong commitment to education and her desire to contribute meaningfully to her profession and community.
