Ashley King-Jones has established a celebrated career in banking, marked by two decades of progressive leadership and expertise at Three Rivers Bank of Montana. Since 2025, she has excelled as the senior vice president of lending, specializing in both residential and commercial lending. In this capacity, Ms. King-Jones has demonstrated comprehensive knowledge across multiple facets of banking, including frontline retail operations, account management, underwriting and loan production. Her ability to navigate complex financial scenarios and deliver tailored solutions for clients has set her apart from her peers as an expert in lending and underwriting.
Prior to her present position at Three Rivers Bank of Montana, Ms. King-Jones was appointed as the senior vice president of operations from 2022 to 2025. During this period, she supervised critical operational functions and contributed to the bank’s strategic growth initiatives. From 2019 to 2022, she served as the vice president of bank operations, where she managed daily banking activities and implemented process improvements that enhanced efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Ms. King-Jones began her tenure at Three Rivers Bank of Montana in 1998, working as a teller, loan clerk and proof operator before advancing to become a personal banker between 2006 and 2009. Her foundational experience as a real estate loan underwriter from 2009 to 2014 provided her with a deep understanding of risk assessment and compliance. Refining her versatile skill set over the years that followed, Ms. King-Jones found success as a loan processing officer and marketing officer from 2014 to 2017, a real estate loan officer and marketing officer from 2017 to 2018, and an assistant vice president of real estate and marketing from 2018 to 2019.
Throughout her career, Ms. King-Jones has been noted for her proactive approach, creative problem-solving skills and willingness to tackle challenges head-on. Her deep roots in the Valley—having been born and raised there—have given her unique insight into local financial practices and client needs. This connection, combined with her extensive banking experience, allows her to safeguard assets effectively while helping clients achieve their financial goals.
Ms. King-Jones’s professional path has been shaped by her family’s longstanding involvement in banking. Her father’s career in the banking industry since the early 1980s ultimately provided her with the opportunities to work alongside multiple family members across generations. This legacy instilled in her a passion for helping others succeed—a value reflected in her dedication to supporting clients’ aspirations.
Ms. King-Jones attributes much of her success to her drive and the encouragement of those who believe in her abilities, which empowers her to take on new challenges with confidence. Among her most notable achievements is being recognized by the Montana Independent Bankers Association as an upcoming leader. Ms. King-Jones’ exceptional achievements have been highlighted with recognition as the Montana Outstanding Young Banker by Montana Independent Bankers in 2008 and the Kalispell Chamber Member of the Year by the Kalispell Chamber of Commerce in 2008, as well as inclusion among the “20 Under 40” by the Kalispell Chamber of Commerce and Daily Interlake in 2022.
Ms. King-Jones’s educational background includes a Bachelor of Arts in business finance and marketing from the College of Business at The University of Montana in 2006. She subsequently pursued advanced training through the Pacific Coast Bankers School, earning a master’s level certification in banking and leadership in 2019—a milestone she considers one of her greatest accomplishments. Additionally, Ms. King-Jones obtained a certification in organizational leadership from the ICBA Emerging Leaders Conference awarded in 2013.
Beyond her primary responsibilities, Ms. King-Jones has been involved with the Platte Valley 4H Foundation as a board member since 2022 and the vice president since 2024. Additionally, she contributes as advisory board member and secretary for the National FFA Organization since 2024. She has been active as a member of the Flathead Building Association since 2026, further demonstrating her commitment to professional development. Ms. King-Jones has also provided thought leadership to her industry as author of an article for ICBA titled “A View on Leadership from an Up-and-Coming CEO,” published in 2018.
Ms. King-Jones continues to pursue ambitious goals within banking leadership, aspiring to advance into executive roles such as chief credit officer or chief executive officer while prioritizing ongoing education, portfolio development and mentorship for future leaders within the industry. Looking ahead, she aims to support community growth by helping individuals realize their dreams—whether starting or expanding businesses or building or purchasing their ideal homes.
