Having accrued more than a decade of excellence in her industry, Ashlee Groves has garnered a laudable reputation as an entrepreneur and sales executive of construction equipment. Inspired by her father, who owned a utility construction company, she began interning at a Ditch Witch manufacturing plant while completing college at the Rawls College of Business of Texas Tech University in Lubbock. Ms. Groves graduated in 2007 with a Bachelor of Arts in finance and earned her Master of Business Administration at Oklahoma City University in 2009.
From 2007 until 2009, Ms. Groves served as the Platinum Plus manager of the finance department at Charles Machine Works Incorporated. After completing a master’s degree, she returned to Ditch Witch with the aspiration of eventually purchasing a family friend’s stake in the business. Ms. Groves became the co-owner of Ditch Witch Southwest in 2009, which she runs with her brother, and has three locations. Moving forward, she hopes to continue to grow the business and add additional locations.
Ms. Groves attributes her professional success to the integrity that her parents taught her and to the assertiveness she developed as a woman in a male-dominated industry. Ditch Witch Southwest has been named as one of the Top 10 Ditch Witch Dealerships in the region and she hopes to expand her client base further over the next five years. She is additionally a member of the Association of Equipment Distributors and the Crystal Ball Foundation, and was featured in the November issue of CED Magazine in 2018. Furthermore, she is the proud mother of four wonderful daughters, Faith, Farrah, Adalee and Fallyn.
