With a distinguished career in information technology (IT) and business operations spanning 30 years, Amy S. Miller, BS, has demonstrated a commitment to organizational excellence as she has moved through roles marked by progressive leadership and responsibility. Since 2023, she has served as the director of IT strategy and planning at BellRing Brands Inc. In this role, Ms. Miller has been instrumental in guiding the company’s technological direction. She is especially proud of her ability to optimize systems and processes to achieve strategic goals while ensuring team engagement throughout the journey, recognizing that both operational efficiency and employee involvement are essential for success.
Prior to shifting to BellRing Brands Inc., Ms. Miller held several key positions at Post Holdings Inc., BellRing’s former parent company. She joined Post in 2013 as lead business analyst for master data management (MDM) and procurement. Over the next 10 years, Ms. Miller developed a deep understanding of the company as IT manager for MDM and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and senior IT manager for applications. Among other contributions to the company, she facilitated full cross-functional team coordination and supported multiple mergers, acquisitions and divestitures, ensuring these major company events could transpire with minimal disruption.
Before her affiliation with Post Holdings Inc., Ms. Miller held the position of procurement financial and process analyst at Ralcorp Holdings beginning in 2005. In this capacity, she honed her analytical abilities and tracked market-level changes, improving the accuracy of the organization’s data tools. In 2009, Ms. Miller became a procurement contract specialist for Ralcorp, overseeing contracts for more than 600 items across 40-plus plant locations. In her last two years with the company from 2011 to 2013, she held the role of IT senior business analyst in procurement.
Ms. Miller’s professional history began in 1996 as a purchasing coordinator at Solae LLC, followed by several years as a sourcing associate at the same organization. These formative roles provided her with a comprehensive foundation in supply chain management and procurement operations.
Throughout her career, Ms. Miller has been supported by her academic background. She earned a Bachelor of Science in business administration from Fontbonne University in 2003. This educational achievement laid the groundwork for Ms. Miller’s leadership in business operations and IT. She attributes her accomplishments to persistence and an unwavering desire for growth, emphasizing that learning from mistakes is essential for continued progress.
To remain aware of developments affecting her field, Ms. Miller has maintained her professional affiliation with a number of pertinent organizations. Most notably, she is an active member of the St. Louis chapter of the Society for Information Management, reflecting her dedication to continued development and industry engagement. Beyond her career, Ms. Miller has long been dedicated to civic advocacy. She regularly donates time and resources to causes she believes in, including the St. Louis Area Foodbank, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, The Salvation Army and the Missouri Baptist Medical Center.
Additionally, Ms. Miller has been happily married to her husband, John, for more than 25 years and points to his support as a key pillar of her success. In her free time, she finds fulfillment through creative cooking, spending time outdoors, gardening, traveling and glamping.
