Developing an early interest in merchandising, Adriana Delgado always enjoyed designing her own clothes and outfits. While enrolled in college, she initially intended on obtaining a degree in psychology, but noticed that her mother did not utilize her psychology degree, a fact that inspired her to pursue a practical degree that she could use in her career. Eventually, Ms. Delgado earned an Associate of Applied Science in fashion marketing and management from Berkeley College.
Beginning her career at one of the top stores in the New York & Company franchise as a member of the merchandising team, Ms. Delgado further flourished in various positions at Verizon Wireless for the majority of her professional ventures. Currently, she excels as a senior analyst in visual merchandising for Verizon Wireless. Civically, Ms. Delgado maintains her affiliation with Jersey Cares, HISPA, Youth Consultation Services and Edgewater Strong.
Throughout her career, Ms. Delgado has attributed her success to her own personal drive. In business, she refuses to give up on any goal, regardless of the adverse circumstances. As the daughter of Cuban immigrants, Ms. Delgado has strived to reward her parents for their sacrifices by making them proud.
For her professional success, Ms. Delgado was honored as the VIP Woman of the Year by the National Association of Professional Women. She also remains active as a member of the Berkeley College Foundation, the Berkeley College Alumni Board, Phi Theta Kappa and the Hispanic Support Organization (HSO). In the coming years, Ms. Delgado would like to advance into a higher position within her present company.
