Monique Lynelle Gray’s professional journey reflects a steadfast commitment to empowering others through creative expression, mentorship and service. Since 2014, she has served as an author, speaker, coach, entrepreneur, producer, writer, director and actress with Dynamic Destiny Enterprises LLC. Through this venture, she writes and publishes books, delivers motivational talks at events, coaches clients seeking personal growth, hosts small groups focused on healing and empowerment, and mentors individuals navigating loss.
Additionally, Ms. Gray wrote, produced, directed and acted in the film “The PK’s.” As a singer-songwriter since 2013, she has released original music and merchandise that further her message of resilience. Ms. Gray likewise produces shows for public access television and has produced a documentary titled “Monique Lynelle’s Journey,” which aired on DCTV in Washington.
From 2016 to 2024, Ms. Gray worked as a government contractor and administrative professional at Goddard Space Flight Center with the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). Her versatile experience also includes serving as an assistant salon leader and manager at Hair Cuttery Salons in 2014 and as a cosmetology instructor from 2015 to 2016. Ms. Gray has been likewise active on the outreach team at her local church community, hosts book and Bible study groups, and recently joined the students team while contributing to the events team since 2025.
Ms. Gray garnered valuable skills throughout her military service, which began in the United States Army Reserve in 1997. She paused her studies at cosmetology school and departed from two positions to complete basic training and advanced individual training as an automated logistical specialist with her unit at Fort Belvoir until 1999. After fulfilling her inactive ready reserve obligations, she reenlisted on active duty in 2006, serving three additional years at Fort Hood as an automated logistical specialist. Prior to her honorable discharge, Ms. Gray’s 11-year military tenure included a deployment to South Korea.
Throughout her career, Ms. Gray has become recognized as an expert in empowering others to overcome challenges through books, music, videos, speaking engagements and coaching. Her perseverance following multiple devastating losses within three years stands as her most notable achievement. Despite these hardships, she sought counseling, support groups and spiritual guidance to rebuild her life. Ms. Gray describes herself as an overcomer whose motto is “Quitting is not an option,” emphasizing that continuing to pursue her goals despite trauma is both a blessing and testament to her resilience.
To support her many ambitions, Ms. Gray pursued an education at Central Texas College, from which she obtained an associate degree in general studies in 2008. She subsequently earned a Bachelor of Arts in strategic communications with a concentration in public relations from Temple University in 2012 and a Master of Science in entertainment business from Full Sail University in 2014. Currently, Ms. Gray is completing a Doctor of Business Administration in organizational leadership at Capella University.
In addition to her formal degrees, Ms. Gray became certified as a joy restoration coach in 2026 after completing the Joy Restoration Coach program at ANew University through Next Level Speakers Academy. She previously received her certification as a stress relief coach in 2024, certifications from Grief University for grief support coaching in 2024, her certification in videography and editing from DCTV in 2017, and certifications in production in 2016. Ms. Gray’s beauty industry qualifications include master educator status from Empire Beauty School achieved in 2011, certified cosmetologist credentials from Dudley Beauty College in 1999, and a certificate as a cosmetology instructor.
The foundation instilled by Ms. Gray’s parents— who emphasized the importance of integrity and honesty— shaped her character from an early age. She credits placing God first as essential to her achievements and personal growth, noting that faith remains central to her life even after periods of struggle or doubt. After completing her undergraduate degree at Temple University while transitioning out of military service, she was inspired to pursue entrepreneurship and authorship by finishing her first book and establishing Dynamic Destiny Enterprises LLC with the goal of creating multiple income streams rather than following a single career path. Ms. Gray’s later coaching certifications emerged from her personal journey of healing from loss and her desire to help others facing similar adversity.
Ms. Gray’s creative output includes several published works, such as “Soul Insurance” in 2026, “Dynamic Destiny Living Faith-Based Gratitude Journal” in 2026, “Blessed in the Midst of the Storm” in 2015, “A Teen’s Guide to Succeed in High School” in 2012 and “My Journey at 30” in 2012. Her music catalog features singles such as “I’m Still Blessed” in 2017, “Get Lifted Up” in 2016 and “Love of the Music” in 2013.
Ms. Gray’s professional excellence has been celebrated through numerous endeavors including the Kingdom Scholarship from Joy Restoration Coach Program School in 2025 and The Global Woman of Impact Award for Excellence in Creative Arts and Wellness in 2026. She was further recognized as Soror of the Year by her military sorority in 2021. Moreover, Ms. Gray fondly recalls her selection as a semi-finalist for Ms. Veteran America in 2017.
Looking toward the future, Ms. Gray intends to complete her doctorate at Capella University while expanding her coaching programs to serve more clients each cycle with continued growth over time.
