Shubhada Zunjarwad’s stellar career reflects a remarkable transition from the technology sector to the creative arts. As founder, creative director and artist at ANFS Studio in Sunnyvale, California since 2025, she has established an inclusive space dedicated to fostering creativity in individuals of all ages. Her vision for the studio is to create a hub that brings together various forms of art under one roof, beginning with painting and expanding to offer classes and workshops for children, teenagers and adults alike. She is deeply involved in every aspect of her business, from planning art sessions and ensuring the studio is fully equipped to conduct back-to-back classes and document activities for social media engagement. Ms. Zunjarwad also provides guidance to prospective students and their families, helping them navigate their creative journeys.
A defining moment in Ms. Zunjarwad’s career occurred on January 6, 2026, when she hosted a workshop at the Sunnyvale Public Library attended by 40 children and their parents. The event was distinguished by the active participation of her students, who volunteered to assist others in painting, embodying the community spirit that ANFS Studio promotes. This experience stands as her most cherished accomplishment and perfectly exemplifies her commitment to creating a safe, welcoming environment for artistic exploration.
Furthermore, Ms. Zunjarwad continues to collaborate with organizations such as San Jose State University and the Sunnyvale Public Library, hosting workshops that encourage people to discover their creative potential regardless of background or skill level. She believes strongly in the healing power of art and is dedicated to ensuring that everyone feels empowered to participate.
Prior to establishing ANFS Studio, Ms. Zunjarwad found much success in technology product management. From 2021 to 2025, she served as a senior technical product manager at Starbucks Coffee Company in Seattle, where she was responsible for building and launching features related to order placement workflows. Her efforts ensured consistent operational functionality across various platforms. Between 2020 and 2021, she held the position of senior technical product manager at AVEVA Solutions Limited in San Leandro, contributing her expertise in product development.
From 2019 to 2020, Ms. Zunjarwad worked as a senior product manager at Element in San Francisco. Reporting directly to the founder and vice president of product, she played a key role as the second product manager in the company’s history. Her responsibilities included supporting the company’s progression from Series A to Series B funding by acquiring new customers and addressing their needs.
Ms. Zunjarwad’s tenure at Microsoft was initially based in Redmond, excelling as a senior software design engineer in test from 2006 to 2014. During this time, she contributed to products such as Microsoft Office, Skype, MSN and Windows Live Hotmail. After years in engineering roles focused on coding and software quality assurance, she transitioned into product management within Microsoft’s Greater Hyderabad office from 2014 to 2019. In this capacity, Ms. Zunjarwad worked closely with customers and shifted her focus toward product development.
Ms. Zunjarwad was previously active as a software design engineer at Varolii Corporation in Greater Seattle Area from 2005 to 2006. She began her career as a research assistant at Old Dominion University between 2003 and 2005.
Throughout these varied roles, Ms. Zunjarwad developed expertise in team building and creating safe spaces for collaboration— skills that have proven invaluable both in corporate settings and within her art studio. Her ability to adapt and find solutions amid challenges has been shaped by years of overcoming obstacles and learning from each experience. Ms. Zunjarwad’s civic engagement includes volunteering by offering free workshops at the Sunnyvale Public Library where she shares her passion for art with local communities.
Before embarking on her professional path, Ms. Zunjarwad pursued an education at VIT, from which he earned a bachelor’s degree in computer science in 2002. She subsequently graduated with a Master of Science in computer science from Old Dominion University in 2005.She also completed specialized coursework through LinkedIn Corporation between 2018 and 2019 covering topics such as business planning, market analysis, building product roadmaps and strategies, metrics for product managers, communication skills, data analytics for business professionals and leadership foundations. Moreover, Ms. Zunjarwad has enhanced her credentials through numerous certifications, including a product management certificate earned in 2020.
Ms. Zunjarwad attributes much of her adaptability and resourcefulness to growing up alongside three sisters and a brother who each pursued different academic paths. Exposure to diverse perspectives within her family has enabled her to approach challenges creatively throughout her career. In recognition of her contributions through ANFS Studio, she received the Best of 2026 Creative Arts Award from ActivityHero Inc., reflecting both her impact as an educator and leader within the creative arts sector.
