Sarah Holland has established herself as an esteemed leader in culture change management throughout a career marked by progressive responsibility and notable achievements. Since 2025, she has excelled as global business transformation project manager at Veolia, where her expertise is evident in the planning and hosting of global summits, the creation of project management systems for international initiatives, and the facilitation of workshops designed to foster collaboration across diverse teams. In this capacity, Ms. Holland coordinates team progress, builds infrastructure for initiative prioritization, and implements change management strategies that cultivate trust and value among colleagues. Prior to her present post, Ms. Holland served as strategic initiatives leader at Veolia Water Technologies & Solutions from 2024 to 2025. In this position, she managed commercial process projects and contributed to the integration of teams operating under different frameworks. Her ability to facilitate workshops and support employees through transitions was instrumental in ensuring the successful adoption of new systems and practices.

From 2022 to 2024, Ms. Holland worked as program manager at Veolia Water Technologies & Solutions, following its transition from SUEZ. During this period, she continued to demonstrate her proficiency in managing complex projects and driving organizational change. In 2022, Ms. Holland was recruited as a program manager at SUEZ in Richmond, Virginia. Her responsibilities included overseeing project execution and supporting the integration of business units during a time of significant organizational transformation.

Between 2018 and 2022, Ms. Holland found success as a document control operations leader at SUEZ in Richmond, Virginia, a period marked by one of her most notable professional achievements. She led a multi-year document control integration across 12 document stores with unique cultures, roles and processes. Through her leadership, she balanced individual management with team support, ultimately creating a cohesive unit across geographically dispersed offices. Managing change implementation for approximately 500 people within the project organization, Ms. Holland ensured that tools and processes were widely adopted and received positive feedback for their effectiveness. The team she left behind was highly collaborative despite many members never having met in person.

Ms. Holland’s earlier positions at SUEZ included document control supervisor from 2017 to 2018, document control coordinator from 2016 to 2017, and document control assistant in 2016. These positions provided foundational experience in quality control for engineering documentation and introduced her to the complexities of change management within technical environments. Before entering the corporate sector, Ms. Holland was active on the campus staff at InterVarsity Christian Fellowship/USA from 2014 to 2015, where she developed skills in mentorship and community building that would later inform her approach to team leadership.

Ms. Holland began her career with internships that broadened her perspective on organizational operations, having initially offered her time and resources to Barbara Comstock for Delegate in McLean, Virginia in 2011. She was later appointed as a resident assistant at the University of Mary Washington from 2011 to 2012, a Bowley Scholar at the James Monroe Museum and Memorial Library in Fredericksburg, Virginia from 2012 to 2013, and a registration services intern at the National Museum of American History at the Smithsonian Institution in 2013. Membership in The Phi Beta Kappa Society reflects Ms. Holland’s commitment to academic excellence and intellectual curiosity—qualities that have supported her ability to comprehend technical language as a non-technical professional working alongside engineers and specialists.

Ms. Holland’s academic background has been integral to her success as a leader in transformation work. She initially earned a Bachelor of Arts in historic preservation and conservation from the University of Mary Washington in 2014. Ultimately, she graduated with a Master of Business Administration from the University of Richmond in 2023—a credential that has equipped her with advanced knowledge in business strategy and organizational development. Ms. Holland attributes much of her success to supportive mentors who recognized her potential early on as well as her own drive to learn continuously. Her initial entry into document control began as a contractor managing quality assurance for engineering documentation, a role she first viewed as temporary but soon embraced due to its alignment with her values and interests. Her passion for change management emerged during company integrations when she realized that successful transitions required more than just new tools or processes; they demanded unity among individuals who felt included throughout periods of uncertainty. Ms. Holland’s primary motivation is rooted in improving workplace environments so others can thrive, a philosophy that guides both her strategic decisions and daily interactions with colleagues.

Since 2021, Ms. Holland has served as chapter co-lead for Women of WTS where she supports women’s advancement within the industry. From 2016 to 2017, she tutored youth through Church Hill Activities and Tutoring while also volunteering for special events at The Branch Museum of Architecture and Design during the same period. Earlier volunteer experiences to her credit include service at Fredericksburg Area Museum from 2011 to 2014 and participation with SPIRIT Open Equestrian Program between 2007 and 2010.

Ms. Holland’s achievements have been celebrated through several accolades, including the Teen Character Award from McLean Citizens Association in 2009, the Prince B.
