Committed to fostering collective effort and supporting others through their journeys, Erica D. Benisch, MBG HWC, CPIM, serves as a health and wellness coach and chief executive officer of Enliven Collective, a business she founded in 2024. In this capacity, she oversees the company’s marketing and information technology departments while working directly with clients as a practitioner. Ms. Benisch’s expertise in health and wellness is evident in her approach to client care, which emphasizes authentic connection and meaningful transformation. She is dedicated to helping others, prioritizing genuine impact over financial gain and finding deep fulfillment in guiding clients through moments of realization and self-discovery.

Though her career spans nearly 40 years, Ms. Benisch considers launching Enliven Collective her proudest accomplishment. Despite facing complex challenges associated with entrepreneurship, she has found that ultimately this milestone has offered a rewarding affirmation of her resolve.

Prior to establishing Enliven Collective, Ms. Benisch spent one year working in supply chain roles in Portland, Oregon, building on more than 20 years of experience at Intel. She joined Intel in 2000 as a project manager, leading cross-functional teams in support of the company’s growth objectives. Ms. Benisch was later promoted to supply chain software developer and global supply chain manager — positions in which she coordinated international operations and leveraged her technical acumen to enhance efficiency. Her time at Intel culminated in her role as supply chain architect from 2012 to 2023. She was esteemed for her ability to translate intricate processes into manageable components, a trait that proved instrumental in driving successful project outcomes.

Before joining Intel, Ms. Benisch gained industry experience as a traffic analyst intern at Freightliner in 2000. Her professional journey began with nine years of service as an air traffic controller in the U.S. Air Force, starting in 1989. Her military background instilled discipline and resilience that have underpinned her subsequent achievements in both corporate and entrepreneurial settings.

Ms. Benisch’s performance in the field was born of her academic journey. She earned a bachelor’s degree in information systems and supply and logistics management from Portland State University in 2000. Ms. Benisch has continued her professional development through numerous credentials. She is certified in production and inventory management and as a supply chain professional through the Association for Supply Chain Management (aka the ASCM, formerly the American Production and Inventory Control Society); in how to have a happier workweek through LinkedIn; and as a health and wellness coach through Mindbodygreen LLC.

Throughout her career, Ms. Benisch has been actively involved with industry organizations, particularly with the ASCM’s Portland chapter. She served as that chapter’s director of education from 2008 to 2009, executive vice president from 2009 to 2010 and president from 2010 to 2013. Ms. Benisch further contributed as a member of the ASCM board of directors from 2014 to 2016. She is additionally affiliated with The American Legion, Women in Networking Inc. and the Worldwide Women’s Association.

To commemorate her accomplishments, Ms. Benisch has been distinguished by several notable honors. In 2018, she was recognized as Intel’s Working Mother of the Year by Working Mother Media and received the Manufacturing Institute’s STEP Ahead Award, an accolade awarded to only 100 individuals nationwide. During her military service, Ms. Benisch was named Airwoman of the Year in 1994. As part of this honor, she had the unique opportunity to fly on an F-16.

Ms. Benisch credits her success to tenacity and authenticity — traits that have enabled her to navigate challenges with perseverance while remaining true to her values. Her passion for helping others is a driving force behind her work. Each client session reinforces her sense of purpose and reinvigorates her commitment to making a difference.

Beyond her professional pursuits, Ms. Benisch has demonstrated civic engagement through various volunteer roles. For nearly 10 years, she served as the Sinclairity Family team captain for March of Dimes. Ms. Benisch has been an independent fundraiser for Boys & Girls Aid since 2015. She also volunteers at her daughters’ high school events, including working at concession stands during track and field meets, and supports women with compromised backgrounds through OmegaNW.

Outside of her career, Ms. Benisch is a devoted wife and a loving mother to two daughters. In her free time, she enjoys outdoor activities such as skiing, swimming, scuba diving, hiking and bicycling.

In the coming years, Ms. Benisch is dedicated to expanding Enliven Collective by inviting additional practitioners who share her vision for accessible health and wellness services for everyone, regardless of socioeconomic status. Her goals include establishing a brick-and-mortar location with diverse offerings such as IV therapy bars, cold plunges and red-and-green light therapy, all designed to help people realize their potential and live their best lives. These plans exemplify Ms. Benisch’s leadership and her unwavering commitment to empowering others.
