She is recognized for her work improving collaboration, decision-making and responsiveness with individual coaching of leaders and executives, as well as consulting for small companies or departments within larger organizations.
The defining hallmark of Ms. Henry’s career is her creation of the Leadership Vitality Checkup, a leadership assessment tool she first introduced in 2004 and updated in 2020. This tool uniquely integrates self-awareness, consciousness and the ability to foster collective storytelling and decision-making at all levels of an organization. Through this program’s unconventional focus on aligning inner awareness with outward actions, Ms. Henry has set a new standard for accountability in business environments. Additionally, she designed and published the Brain Jewells Card Deck, a professional development tool that further demonstrates her commitment to creative learning methodologies.
Ms. Henry’s expertise was instrumental in her role as a leadership and teamwork consultant for the International Thwaites Glacier Collaboration, a seven-year partnership between the United Kingdom and the United States studying the fastest-melting glacier in Antarctica. In this capacity, she cultivated team cohesion for a group of more than 150 peers under extreme conditions. Ms. Henry’s contributions were pivotal in building a positive work culture, inspiring other groups to view it as a model for inclusive scientific environments.
