Before rising to her present leadership roles, Ms. Liu served as board secretary for the Forest Hills Asian Association, contributing to membership growth, cultural programming, and public engagement initiatives. Her dedication to community service extends to her work as a troop co-leader with the Girl Scouts of Greater New York, where she has supported emerging leaders and encouraged collaboration, curiosity, and self-confidence in young women.
Ms. Liu’s professional experience spans both the business and technology sectors. As a partner at Hwa Yuan LLC, she applies strategic planning expertise and business development insight to support organizational priorities and long-term growth. Her earlier service at the Federal Reserve Bank strengthened her technical and analytical capabilities. She progressed from senior programmer analyst to senior business analyst, overseeing complex data systems and contributing to financial operations that supported institutional stability. She later expanded her professional network through LearningLeaders, Inc., taking part in leadership development and industry collaboration.
