Toni M. Gomez has established herself as a respected authority in the sign industry, known for her expertise in project management, client relations, and operational strategy. As senior project manager at Imperial Signs, she oversees a broad range of responsibilities, including troubleshooting, resolving urgent issues, scheduling, billing, and providing estimates. Her ability to handle complex projects efficiently while ensuring high-quality results has contributed significantly to the organization’s growth and success.  

Ms. Gomez’s educational background has supported her professional accomplishments. She earned a diploma from Paradise Valley High School in Phoenix, an achievement that set the stage for her pursuit of knowledge and lifelong learning. She credits much of her success to an eagerness to learn something new every day and her ability to retain and apply lessons learned across her diverse career. This approach has allowed her to innovate within the sign industry, implementing technologies and strategies that enhance efficiency and improve outcomes for clients, employees, and vendors alike. 

Before joining Imperial Signs, Ms. Gomez served as senior project manager at SSC Signs & Lighting, where she further honed her skills in overseeing large-scale signage projects. In this role, she focused on coordinating complex installations, fostering strong relationships with clients, and guiding vendors through project timelines and technical requirements. Her leadership and proactive problem-solving contributed to the smooth completion of multiple initiatives, reinforcing her reputation for reliability, professionalism, and navigating the challenges of a fast-paced industry. 

Ms. Gomez’s experience includes project manager roles at MC Group and Comet Signs, where she was responsible for coordinating multifaceted projects, ensuring timely delivery and managing cross-functional teams. At MC Group, her attention to detail and ability to anticipate potential issues were critical to keeping projects on track and within budget. At Comet Signs, she demonstrated adaptability by addressing operational challenges as they arose, showing resourcefulness in managing both human and technical elements of complex signage installations. 

A significant period of Ms. Gomez’s career was her tenure as national senior project manager at Starlite Sign, where she led national accounts and oversaw major conversion projects. Among her most notable accomplishments was leading a $10 million sign conversion project for Rite Aid, completing the work in just eight months from contract to finish. This project exemplified her ability to manage high-stakes initiatives while coordinating multiple stakeholders and teams across various locations. Her work at Starlite Sign showcased her leadership, organizational acumen and commitment to delivering results that met client expectations and operational requirements. 

Earlier in her career, Ms. Gomez held project management positions at US Signs and ASI Signage Innovations, where she contributed innovative solutions tailored to client needs and ensured that projects were executed efficiently and effectively. Her decade-long service as project manager at Chandler Signs provided a strong foundation for her career, earning her recognition through awards such as the Milestones in Sales Award and the Project Management Award. These honors reflected her dedication to excellence, her ability to manage diverse projects, and her commitment to supporting her team’s professional development. 

Ms. Gomez began her professional journey as office manager for a custom home builder in Arizona, managing daily operations, client communications and project logistics. This early experience gave her many organizational and interpersonal skills that would later define her approach to project management in the sign industry. She also held positions with West Corps Partners, managed operations for the Phoenix Suns and Arizona Diamondbacks at Bob Banquet Ballpark, and worked in human resources at Ramada Hotels, building a diverse professional background that contributed to her versatility and leadership capacity. 

Building on her professional experience, Ms. Gomez maintains active membership in several industry-related organizations, including the International Sign Association, TSA, and the Arizona Sign Association, staying engaged with peers and emerging industry trends. Her dedication extends beyond professional achievements into civic engagement, including volunteer work with Colony Animal Services in Colony, Texas, and church-related initiatives that reflect her commitment to giving back to the community. 

Ms. Gomez has been recognized for her professional contributions, including being named project manager of the year by Atlas Signs. She enjoys spending time with her grandchildren, traveling, reading, and visiting family and friends. Looking ahead, she hopes to retire, devoting more quality time to her family while continuing to pursue personal interests that bring fulfillment and balance outside of her professional life.
