Ms. Borgonovo’s academic background has been a cornerstone of her success. She earned a Master of Science in legal studies from Purdue Global, where she gained an in-depth understanding of the legal and ethical frameworks that shape modern management. She also completed postgraduate coursework in human resources and management development at Universidade de Sorocaba in Brazil, which deepened her expertise in leadership and organizational design. Her foundation in business was established with a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Faculdade Prudente de Moraes in Sorocaba, Brazil. She also holds a certified electronic diploma from Purdue Global, reinforcing her commitment to lifelong learning and professional advancement.
Before founding CAPISIUS LLC, Ms. Borgonovo held senior leadership positions across multinational organizations, overseeing large-scale human resources operations and driving transformative change. As vice president of human resources, communication, and branding for North America at St. Marys Cement Group, part of Votorantim Cimentos, she managed operations across the United States and Canada for a multibillion-dollar enterprise with thousands of employees and multiple sites. In that role, she reported directly to the chief executive officer for North America and was a key member of the executive leadership team. Her tenure was marked by a measurable impact, including significant improvements in recruitment efficiency, multimillion-dollar cost savings, and a comprehensive redesign of organizational structures to better align with business objectives.
Earlier in her career, Ms. Borgonovo held several executive and regional roles with Dura|Shiloh, leading human resources strategy across global operations and specializing in process improvement and organizational effectiveness. She was also the human resources director for South America at MAHLE GmbH, guiding transformation initiatives and enhancing talent management. At Delphi Automotive, she advanced through multiple leadership roles, including global human resources director and corporate human resources director, aligning talent development with business innovation. Her career began at Hydro Alumínio Acro S/A, where she developed the foundational experience that would shape her strategic and people-centered leadership style.
