
With a career rooted in creativity, entrepreneurship, and service, Tammie Aaron-Barrada has built a legacy that bridges the worlds of printing, marketing, advertising, and business leadership. As the president and chief executive officer of Aaron Barrada Inc., she led the development of an extensive line of innovative products, which includes “PottieStickers.” PottiePal, PottieKits, PottieCombo, PottieRules, PottieSong, PottieTime, PottieCertificates, and PottieCD aid in toilet training; and RewardEmStickers and RewardEmCertificates are for behavior modification.
The “PottieStickers” line earned national attention for its unique approach, including recognition from Donald Trump as Best New Product of the Year at the American Business Awards in New York City. The line also received multiple industry awards and was featured on children’s product news outlets, As Seen On TV, radio, social media, and television shows. Printed on all the products is “GFW” (God, Family, Work) in memory of her late husband, who died when she was “PottieTraining” her 2-and 3-year-old children. A percentage of sales is applied to cancer research.
Ms. Aaron-Barrada has been recognized with numerous honors, including Entrepreneur of the Year for the State of Pennsylvania, Best New Product by Icare, iParenting Hot Awards, Best Children’s Product by Orca, finalist for Best New Product at the Stevie Awards for Women Entrepreneurs, the Start Up Princess Award, Readers Favorite Choice, and Top 100 Affiliate Programs for “Helping Mompreneurs.”
In addition, Ms. Aaron-Barrada is the president of Aaron & Associates, an advertising, marketing, printing, and consulting business supporting entrepreneurs – particularly mothers – seeking to launch and grow their own companies. She has worked extensively in marketing and print production as well as in management, breaking barriers early in her career as the only woman in her organization to hold such a position. In that role, she managed photography, estimating, printing, and production processes that directly impacted financial performance. Ms. Aaron-Barrada’s work earned her clients, along with international awards in design, printing, and techniques.
Ms. Aaron-Barrada’s professional experience also includes international business training for Deloitte & Touche throughout Russia in the 1990s, while the country was in a period of economic transition. During this time, she also worked with INET for Women and the INET Foundation on assignments in Russia, Poland, and Germany, conducting advertising and marketing seminars, establishing libraries for women, and developing marketing strategies for a variety of clients. Her efforts earned recognition from the Russian and German embassies in Washington, D.C. Further, as a business consultant sharing insights from her own ventures, Ms. Aaron-Barrada helped aspiring inventors and business owners refine their ideas to create practical business plans and patents. For more than a decade, she taught college courses focusing on design, printing, estimating, management and production of advertising, marketing, and collateral items.
Ms. Aaron-Barrada’s civic involvement spans decades, including serving as president of the International Association of Printing House Craftsmen Inc., the Pittsburgh Division, and representing the Fifth District; leading local church activities and participating in both the Girl Scouts of America and the Boy Scouts of America (now called Scouting America). Ms. Aaron-Barrada continues to serve on multiple boards at her college, in various women’s groups, with the local Chamber of Commerce, and has been executing golf tournaments for decades, raising thousands of dollars for several charities. She has also donated her products to organizations and mission trips, incorporating “PottieStickers” into arts and crafts programs abroad.
Highlighting more of her creative works, as co-author of “The Right Sisters,” Ms. Aaron-Barrada has shared her story alongside other modern-day women inventors. She has hosted a Cincinnati-based radio talk show for “mompreneurs” and served as a keynote speaker, inspiring audiences on topics such as innovation and women’s leadership. She plans to organize her collection of teaching materials, business notes, and papers so they may benefit others or be preserved for community use. Ms. Aaron-Barrada’s purposeful career reflects a commitment to empowering women, advancing education, and fostering creativity in business and beyond.
