Amaireny Lantigua Tejeda has established a successful career as a distinguished financial professional. She currently excels as an insurance agent with Global Financial Impact, where she has been making significant strides since 2024. Her expertise in business development is evident through her dedication to transitioning into the financial industry full time. Additionally, Ms. Lantigua Tejeda actively engages in training with agents, seeking leads and consultations via social media, and conducting weekend appointments to analyze clients’ financials.
Ms. Lantigua Tejeda’s journey in the financial sector began with World Financial Group, where she served as a financial professional and insurance agent from 2022 to 2023 before briefly returning in 2024. Prior to her current role, she contributed her skills as a small business consultant at Prospera, also known as the Hispanic Business Initiative Fund Inc., starting in 2022. Her tenure at Prospera also included serving as a business development specialist from 2021 to 2022.
Further contributing to her career experience, Ms. Lantigua Tejeda was an assistant store manager at Ross Stores Inc. from 2020 to 2021 and an assistant team leader at eCommerce Business Solutions and Systems from 2016 to 2021. Additionally, she has held roles such as global ambassador for the University of Central Florida since 2018 and customer service representative at Coquitos Ice Cream & Cafe from 2016 to 2020.
Ms. Lantigua Tejeda laid a solid academic foundation, earning an Associate of Applied Science in business administration and management from Valencia College in 2016 and a Bachelor of Science in business management and marketing from the University of Central Florida in 2020. Her educational journey was supplemented by multiple internships, including a digital marketing intern position at the University of Central Florida College of Business and a retail leader intern role at Ross Stores Inc. Ms. Lantigua Tejeda’s certifications include IRS VITA/TCE certifications obtained in 2016 and leadership certificates from Valencia College.
In light of her impressive undertakings, Ms. Lantigua Tejeda has been honored with numerous awards, including the Emerging Leaders Certificate from BB&T, now Truist, in 2019, and multiple recognitions on the Dean’s List at the University of Central Florida College of Business. Beyond her primary professional life, Ms. Lantigua Tejeda has dedicated her spare time to volunteering at Give Kids the World Village. In addition, she received recognition for her leadership within Phi Theta Kappa.
Ms. Lantigua Tejeda is multilingual, speaking Spanish, English, and some French. Dedicated to her continual development, she is currently studying Mandarin. Some of her interests include reading, dancing, enjoying music, traveling, and learning about new cultures and languages. She considers realizing that she has the option to work for herself as a major achievement, as this change allowed her to move beyond simply serving as an employee. Ms. Lantigua Tejeda is most proud of having the opportunity to study abroad in Hong Kong as part of an international business class through a program at UCF in 2018 alongside students from other colleges across the country.
Ms. Lantigua Tejeda attributes her success to the support of mentors, family members, and other influential individuals who have guided her career path. Through networking on LinkedIn, she connected with a financial company that inspired her to assist others with their financial planning needs. Looking to the future, Ms. Lantigua Tejeda aims to assist thousands of families while building future agency owners across the United States. She envisions expanding one of her agencies globally with around 100 agents providing financial services. One of Ms. Lantigua Tejeda’s major personal goals is to retire her mother from working as a housekeeper, reflecting her deep commitment to family and community impact.
