Ms. Lorber’s academic foundation in psychology and education has been instrumental in shaping her career. She earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Allegheny College and a master’s degree in education with a specialization in school psychology from Duquesne University. She furthered her expertise by obtaining a Doctor of Philosophy in school psychology from Duquesne University. Her commitment to academic excellence and professional development has allowed her to make a lasting impact in her field.
Ms. Lorber’s career in school psychology began as a psychology charter school supervisor, where she gained valuable experience in educational psychology and administration. She later joined PSI Solutions, working as a school psychologist and advancing to leadership positions, including director of educational support services, executive director of client services, and chief operating officer. During her tenure at PSI Solutions, she was crucial in enhancing educational support programs and fostering relationships between schools and service providers.
As the head of Wraparound Experts LLC, Ms. Lorber works closely with school administrators, educators, and parents to ensure children receive the support they need. The company follows the ‘wraparound’ model, addressing students’ academic, emotional, and mental health needs by coordinating services among teachers, support staff, and mental health professionals. This approach creates an environment where children can thrive both academically and personally. In addition to staffing solutions, the company provides specialized psychological testing services for autism, ADHD, and learning disabilities and comprehensive mental health training for students, families, and school personnel.
