As a compliance analyst with Johnson Controls since 2022, Tina Y. Fox credits her professional achievements to her mother’s strong influence. At Johnson Controls, Ms. Fox is responsible for working with the company’s third-party auditor to ensure all appropriate information and access is correctly supplied. She is an innovative thinker who consistently strives to simplify complex tasks and make processes more efficient. Exemplifying the principle of working smarter, not harder, Ms. Fox maintains a keen interest in understanding processes from start to finish to become better at her job. She aims to continue advancing in her career, becoming a corporate director or consultant. In preparation for her career in accounting and compliance, Ms. Fox earned an associate degree in accounting from Catawba Valley Community College in 1988. Two years later, she graduated with an additional associate degree in business administration. Dedicated to her continual professional development, she is pursuing a Bachelor of Science in business management at Strayer University. Ms. Fox stays active in her professional community as a member of the Women’s Global Network. Away from work and advancing her education, she serves the local Beulah Baptist Church, loves spending time with her family, and participates in community activities.
