Attorney Amanda M. Rochow has led a formidable career, two decades in the making and counting. Since 2023, she has been counsel with the law firm Inglesino Taylor in New Jersey, where she is a valued member of the litigation group. Ms. Rochow has built her career specializing in insurance defense. She previously worked as a clerk for a criminal law attorney and judge as part of her early journey, yet quickly knew she was destined to walk a different legal path. Thus, after she was offered a job by a fellow civil practitioner, she transitioned into insurance defense, and her career blossomed.
Ironically, Ms. Rochow’s interest in the law stems from a tragedy during her youth when a friend from middle school was murdered, driving her motivation to grow up to become an attorney and advocate for people who have been wronged. In September 2023, Ms. Rochow was appointed by the New Jersey Supreme Court to serve on a district ethics committee for a four-year term. She also has been very active in her field as an arbitrator for the New Jersey Superior Court in Essex County. In further recognition of her professional prowess, Ms. Rochow was listed in the Marquis Who’s Who Top Lawyers 2024 publication.
Ms. Rochow prepared for her career starting at Saint Louis University, graduating magna cum laude in 2002 with a Bachelor of Arts in history. In 2005, she went on to earn her Doctor of Jurisprudence from the Oklahoma City University School of Law, graduating cum laude. She has been admitted to practice by the New Jersey Bar, the District of Columbia Bar, and the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey. After serving as a research assistant at her alma mater from 2003 to 2005, Ms. Rochow became a judicial law clerk. In 2007, she was hired as an associate at Gutterman, Markowitz & Klinger LLP, where she remained for three years. Between 2010 and 2013, she was a trial attorney for Plymouth Rock Assurance and subsequently spent the next six years as a senior trial attorney with the company. After a brief tenure with Tango, Dickinson, Lorenzo, McDermott & McGee, Ms. Rochow was hired as counsel by Lamb Kretzer, LLC. Throughout her career, alongside her primary responsibilities, she has contributed extensively to her field as a presenter, giving talks at bar association conferences and other professional conventions.
All her life, Ms. Rochow has remained steadfast in standing up for her beliefs. Crediting the teachings and unwavering support of her parents, she is also grateful to the many exceptional professors who played major roles in her development. In her years of legal experience, Ms. Rochow has learned that cooperation and civility often lead to positive outcomes for both parties. She looks forward to continuing her professional ascent and aspires to become a partner at Inglesino Taylor.
