Gail Nelson

Gail Pinkham Nelson of Colorado ascribes her professional achievements to hard work, dedication, and wisdom gained through years of experience. With expertise in refinancing, reverse mortgages, property sales, and debt reduction, she is the successful owner of G&G Connections LLC, founded in 2006, and has been a notary public since 2000. Simultaneously, she excels as the director of training and quality assurance for CEA Fresh Farms.

Ms. Nelson’s diverse career background includes spending years as a financial manager, account executive, project consultant, and marketing manager, among many other roles. She also worked as an independent contractor with Lerman Law Associates P.C. from 2010 to 2013 and was the owner of Kosha Enterprises from 2006 to 2011, specializing in land development. For a decade, Ms. Nelson was an account administrator and manager with an international financial firm. For the past eight years, she has served as chairman of the planning commission for the City of Florence.

Committed to her professional development and continual education, Ms. Nelson taught coursework in varied subject areas at North Carolina State University and The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in English, education, and speech pathology with a minor in history from the University of Redlands in 1969. In 1970, she completed a Master of Arts in speech pathology at the same institution. Always devoted to growing her skill set, Ms. Nelson has secured a string of professional credentials and certifications, including becoming a notary public in Colorado and holding a Standard Life Elementary Teaching Credential in the state of California. She also earned a Colorado real estate license, a Colorado insurance producer license, and a substitute teaching authorization in 2007.

Finding success also through her creative works, Ms. Nelson authored the “Foundation of Communication Theory Manual” for North Carolina State University in 1981 and has written numerous papers, presentations, and journal articles throughout her career, including “Piaget and the Center for Perceptual Disturbance” in 1978. In 1980, she co-authored “An Objective Evaluation of Esophageal Speech.” Notably, Ms. Nelson was named to the Outstanding Young Women of America in 1977.

Ms. Nelson believes strongly that everyone should find their passion and pursue it. She has never let anything block her from pursuing her dreams. Looking forward, she hopes to work with a team to establish CEA Fresh Farms as a leader in commercial hydroponic food production. Motivated to make her parents proud, Ms. Nelson considers her father a mentor. Although she takes pride in having charted her own path, she is nonetheless grateful for the lessons he taught her.
