Initially interested in teaching, Nancy Lattanzio-Quigg shifted career paths until she settled into the prominent role for which she is recognized today in the real estate industry. Since 2023, she has been the president of the Greater Syracuse Association of REALTORS as part of the New York State Association of REALTORS. In her position, she is responsible for educating members through training courses and introducing qualified speakers to social and membership meetings. An associate broker as well, in affiliation with My Town Realty in Syracuse, New York, since 2018, Ms. Lattanzio-Quigg lists homes for sale in residential real estate, helping buyers purchase their dream homes cost-effectively and efficiently. To this end, she collaborates with builders. Likewise, she has been a director of the New York State Association of REALTORS since 2012.
Earlier in her career, Ms. Lattanzio-Quigg served as an associate broker with HUNT Real Estate ERA between 1981 and 2018, during which time she also worked for Prudential Real Estate and Gallinger Real Estate. At the inception of her career in 1974, she was an elementary school substitute teacher for the Syracuse City School District for two years. She draws upon a Bachelor of Science in elementary education, with a minor in child psychology, from the State University of New York at Geneseo, which she earned in 1974. A licensed real estate agent since 1981 and a licensed broker since 1984, Ms. Lattanzio-Quigg holds an At Home with Diversity certification, is an Accredited Buyer’s Representative, and graduated from the REALTOR Institute. Furthermore, she holds a REALTORS Commitment to Excellence certification.
In light of her success, Ms. Lattanzio-Quigg was recognized as a realtor political action committee trustee through the New York State Association of REALTORS in 2013. Active with the Daughters of Columbus in her spare time, she attributes much of her success to her effortless compassion and ongoing, positive relationships with her clients. She also credits her wonderful mentors and other realtors with whom she surrounds herself as factors in her success. To this end, she considers herself fortunate to work with such dedicated colleagues, including her husband, Terry, and other realtors at the state and national levels.
Notably, the Greater Syracuse Association of REALTORS has thrived under Ms. Lattanzio-Quigg’s leadership, having contributed to fundraising efforts for Francis House Inc., an organization that provides a place for individuals with terminal illness to pass away peacefully. The realtor association also supports a community college, helping students who require clothing and textbooks, as well as raising money to build the Golisano Child Emergency Room. As a director for four separate terms at prominent realtor associations, Ms. Lattanzio-Quigg’s leadership skills are unparalleled. She is exceptionally proud of serving as the president and a director of two of New York’s most prestigious realtor associations. Looking toward the future, she hopes to continue experiencing the success of her career and will remain involved in her community.
