ANDREA DINICE

Andrea Dinice is an architectural and designer accounts executive for Sherwin Williams, where she has spent more than 15 years developing relationships with design professionals. Passionate about art and design since childhood, Ms. Dinice holds an associate degree in interior design from Long Island University and has pursued extensive continuing education throughout her career. She is a WELL accredited professional, NACE coating inspector, and LEED green associate, and holds a Construction Specifications Institute construction doc technologies credential. Ms. Dinice began her career in the paint and coatings industry in 1998 as a salesperson for Benjamin Moore & Co, where she continued to develop her skills as a professional until 2006. In 2008, she joined the architectural services arm of Sherwin Williams, and has continued to excel as an accounts executive, earning the distinction of becoming the company’s Architectural Account Executive of the Year.

Ms. Dinice entered her field for the love of design and the challenges of working with other design professionals and the public. She felt that accounts management offered new opportunities to develop the interpersonal and professional skills that she built at Benjamin Moore, and she prioritizes a lifelong learning ethos based on the belief that the more she learns, the more she will be able to benefit her clients. She credits her success to her integrity and commitment to knowledge, underscoring that she will never lie to a client or make up an answer and that she prizes transparency. Among the highlights of her career was an interaction with one of her earliest commercial clients, a designer who had just launched his business. Working alongside the designer reignited Ms. Dinice’s own passion for interior design, ultimately inspiring her to specialize in commercial interior design accounts.

As a leader in her field, Ms. Dinice is the current president of the metro New York chapter of the Construction Specifications Institute, a role she has held since 2020. She is grateful for the success she has found in her industry and the opportunities she has had, including representing such firms as Gensler Architects, a global leader in commercial design. She looks forward to retiring within the next five years. Outside her work in arts and design, Ms. Dinice is active in community charitable initiatives, including support of animal rights and rescue charities and UNICEF.
